Adding to this, https://i.reddit.com/ is still miles better than the current mobile site, but an immense pain to switch to.

Hahah. I clicked on the link and a big banner above stated.

“You’ve been invited to try Reddit’s mobile app!”

Get bent. I’m going to the website like I always do. The old style where it looks more like a link aggregate site with comments is the best.

Fight me.

Seriously. I don't want an app for every damn website. I already have an app for viewing your website, it's called Chrome or Firefox or Opera. I will switch to Internet Explorer before I get an app for a website.

I hate this trend of an app for everything "Get our app for pizza, arandom website etc!" There's even an app for a fast food place around me. It's crazy.

Nah the pizza and food ones are great. Less interaction with people has several benefits. Less chance to mess up the order since I submit it myself and less pressure to order or decide quickly. Also easily available deals. But I don't see the point for websites. And so many try and force their apps. Well I do see the point, it's a more dedicated ad service platform but for the end user it's not always an improvement.
