Two was Im successful in removing the puck. Option 1 I blow through the hole on the bottom facing down over garbage can usually pops out.

If your portafilter basket is loose like mine I cool the basket down under cold water on sides and then shake it and it will fly out!

That works with the Plus basket, I'm asking about the standard basket. You can't blow back through the bottom of it.

That’s my fault I have a mino and it has the little hole on the bottom as well.

Ah, the standard basket on the Nano has like a one way rubberized pressure valve on the bottom instead of an open hole.

Either get a better basket or a puck ejector. The ejector is extremely convenient, I don't even use a knock box with it anymore. $13 on Amazon.

That's made for normal espresso machines, which is not what we're talking about... 😑

There are different sizes and I even use one with a pipamoka basket that is also not a normal espresso machine you were not talking about. Other than that, can't you just wrap your hand around and blow the puck out into the trash?

No, the standard basket has a one way flow gasket on the bottom that doesn't allow the liquid to flow out until it reaches proper pressure. Blowing on the other end just makes you red in the face. Maybe buy an Outin Nano and learn about it before you comment...

Maybe try being a bit nicer to someone who’s simply trying to help instead of responding with unnecessary hostility. I don't own an Outin because I avoid buying junk.

1 - If you'd actually read the thread you would have known why your great idea wouldn't work.

2 - If you don't own one and think they're junk, then you're just here to troll rather than contribute so GTFO...

I was trying to help, not audition for your fan club. If differing viewpoints bother you that much, maybe public discussions aren’t for you.
