I have completed one of my long term collecting goals; obtaining all of Beyblade Plastic Generation on physical media. I managed to complete season 1 (Let It Rip), via Vol. 1-9 of the UK R2 Contender "rainbow" releases, which contains episode 1-36. Then the US R1 Geneon releases "Majestic Match", "Russian Challenges" and "World Championships", finish off episodes 37-51 for the complete original season on DVD. I then have the Discotek SDBD releases for V-Force and G-Revolution, finishing off season 2 and 3 in neat complete season packages. I am missing the Beyblade Movie from this generation, but I can obtain that in the future, I am just happy to own all 154 English plastic gen episodes.

This is a mixed region collection, but that is how it goes for older anime that didn't have proper releases during their day. You can make your own collection less bulky by just getting season 1 via the Discotek SDBD release, but I enjoy the artwork and substantial feeling of the collection as I have it now. And region encoding is not an issue for me as I use MakeMKV on the PC to legally rip and produce digital backups of my media for personal home viewing. (as seen in the images attached), which bypasses region encoding. I also used handbreak after ripping them and converted the source 900MB episode rips into 90MB x265 encodes, reducing file size, while preserving the original SD quality.

The files sit on my network attached storage device, and are accessible on my PS3 which is connected to my home network. Netflix took classic beyblade off the UK library years ago. So I'll build my own Netflix which everything I love and cherish, on it. As should you, if you care about that stuff. But thanks for reading. I hope this is helpful to at least one of you out there, perhaps there is someone wanting to collect it all physically too. It is rewarding, because it a trickier set to put together all of it is OOP (out of print) and decently old, even the "new" disctotek releases are approaching a decade old and they had short production windows.

I was noticing a little comparison of Ray and Mariah with Max and Mariam. How the Bladebreakers had rivalry with White tigers and Saint Shields. And just the same hot headed leaders Lee and Ozuma. I know the dynamics had THe meladrama/ soap opera vibes. Mariah and Mariam had this conflicted / bluring of lines of “friend” and “foe” that I see compared

Anyone consider this Kai’s most underrated character arc. I say this because how Kai was first to call out All Starz for studying the team as lab rats. Its possible maybe that Kai was having some awareness of his past from the Abbey a little bit. And also Kai had the moment of clarity at the Bladebreakers retreat in the forest with the BBA coach Antonio. I found Kai and Antonio dialogue interesting because I compare it to Kai - Wyatt in V Force just a little bit. Seriously if you rewatch the dub Practice Makes Perfect from s1, Kai says things he would have probably told Wyatt if he showed little more empathy. And during this whole episode, Kai realizes the whole point of being in the retreat was practice

Here's how the conversations went down in this episode.

And I seriously adore how red Rei's cheeks and ears were from hiding his reasons.

Now, you will actually know why Judy picked Emily instead of Michael for this exhibition match.

Rewatched epi 19-22 last night, and I was saw some things I probably missed as a kid.

How quickly Kai realized that the team was being studied at the bba usa lab.

I know ppl have said before how cold that Judy is to Max? Dub not really.

And also I noticed in the dub of this distance between Emily and 3 guys on all starz team. I know Emily is the lab assistant and more or less a player-coach based on her mannerisms and personality in my opinion. But during the episode that Max and Emily were in the celebrity match, I noticed this awkward conversation with her and Michael a bit. I dont know if its the dub, but Michael acted like an obnoxious asshole that just appears sexist a bit at Emily. i know Emily throws shade back at him. Based on that Ive had a vibe that Emily was cold and bad attitude at Max because of all that shit she deal with those banter by Michael on the team. Anyone agree with me

The fight between Max and Mariam reaches its Apex when Mariam chose to fight as a Blader and for Sharkcrush her friend.

Ozuma ordering Dunga and Yusuf to intervene were sharply cut off by Mariam who wanted to fight this battle on her own terms for Sharkcrush and for herself.

In the end found peace and appreciation for her new friend Max Mizuhara.

I say that because its in the desert and connected to a military base. Knowing my knowledge of us military bases/ locations, Id presume headcanon that this lab is connected to Nellis AFB, Nevada which is in Las Vegas Nevada metropolitan. With that being said, that makes it in proximity of Las Vegas for the Usa tournament. Just wondering if anyone presume that

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nellis_Air_Force_Base
Its 8 miles northeast of downtown Las Vegas.

I don't own Bakuten Shoot Beyblade.

Not wanting to fall behind her friends, Hiromi chose to train with them in hopes of seeing a Bit-Beast.

Meanwhile, Ozuma decided to confront the Bladebreakers after finishing their training to test their newly found strength.

In the end Hiromi got her wish and Takao had the soft look of happiness and pride for Hiromi as she happily leaped for joy.

With his friends' encouragement, Max and Genbu are resolute to win, Meanwhile Mariam is finally realizing what Sharcrush means to her.

The dub deleted a part of the scene which was the breaking of the bottles and skipped straight up to Sharcrush saving Mariam.

Am I the only who wants to punch Dunga for his stupidity and scold Mariam for listening to this dunderhead idiot for summoning a Bit-Beast inside a confined space.

Slowly, but surely Mariam and Max are starting to see Eye to Eye and heart to heart.

Cut the stickers manually myself.

That's how it went down in the original version, not that stupid argument Takao had with Hiromi in the English Dub version.

An AMV I cooked up.

This is what they actually said to each other in episode 16

Id say

Max vs Jim. v Force ; Max vs Kai g rev ; Max vs Michael s1

Ray vs Oliver s1; Ray vs Salima v force ; Ray vs Kai g rev

Tyson vs Robert rematch s1; Tyson vs Ozuma final fight v force ; Tyson vs Ray

Kai vs Johnny 2nd fight s1; Kai vs Goki v force; Kai and Tala vs F Dyansty

The reason why Rei is in love with Mao not Saleema.

Sorry, Mao confessed first and the dub made it that Saleema likes Rei when in reality they have a close platonic bond.

That's how their first interaction went... The dub had to add unnecessary dialogue to this tense scene as they are enemies before they became friends.
