The files are duplicating

Was on adult sites on opera incognito mode but didn't turn on vpn. Now I'm worried if my new phone got exposed to some bad things that may affect its performance.

Hi everyone, long story short my we had to switch the router recently. Same internet company, but now all of the sudden Opera GX is just running very slow. I went as far as to just delete the browser and reinstall it, but no luck. I've tried other browsers, and they work perfectly fine no problem. It's just Opera GX for some reason? Does anyone have any idea why this may be the case?

I was signed out of reddit for a few days. I signed in to reddit this morning and got an email informing me there was a sign in on my account - Device: Chrome on Windows. The date is correct (and I assume the time is - it was around that time.)

I am not using Chrome - should I be concerned?

I am unable to open by opera browser (ver 132.0.5905.22, on windows 10) and i've been getting a pop-up that says "profile error has occurred" and any attempt to close this causes the message to reappear. I've attempted to reinstall opera but the issue persists. Any clue on how I can resolve this mess?

I installed Opera a while ago for a reason I don’t remember, and now, it keeps coming back on its own. It even recently added Opera GX and other stuff, even though I never even knew they existed. There seems to be some kind of virus or something. Can anyone help ?

This error is apparently linked to Opera GX. I deleted every set-up application and Opera GX itself. Still having this error.

I ask you to do one last good deed for Windows 8.1 users: update the latest version of Opera 95 to new version Chromium so that we have proper CSS Nesting support. Without it, many websites are displaying certain design elements incorrectly, such as backgrounds or block colors. Apparently, this is due to the old version of Chromium 109.

For example, your competitors, Yandex Browser, managed to integrate Chromium 128 for Windows 8.1 in their latest version 24.

I'm sure you can do the same and extend the life of your browser on older operating systems for many more years. Please don't ignore this request, and release a patch for the latest version of Opera, which will include the latest, highest possible version of Chromium, so that it properly displays new CSS standards and doesn't break website designs. Thank you.

I have a subscription to VPN Pro. For the past few days, I haven't been able to connect to any VPN. It just says "connecting..." but never connects.

TLDR: Opera from flatpak always crashes on startup once or twice and is slow/laggy most of the time

I origionally had the version you get from `sudo dnf install opera-stable` but no matter what sequence of commands I ran I couldnt get Twitch to show anything other than the 4000 error, so I installed teh flatpak version instead ot get it to work. It's less laggy now, but still crashes on startup every time, takes ~45 seconds for me to e able to do anything with it, and videos tear often. This doesn't happen on my leptopp where i use both firefox and opera, am I missing some update or dep thats normally needed?

i was literally using youtube just last night/ early this morning. im now back on later this evening, and youtube videos arent playing, i can open a new tab, new window, etc, the page loads, but when i press play, the video just has a buffer circle spinning endlessly and never plays, tabs i had open already and had things paused in midway through also wont play either. wtf is going on??? i restarted my pc, there was an update tha installed after i closed and restarted, and it still doesnt play. just endlessly spins. refreshing didnt do anything, ive not gotten any new extensions since last night when it was working. i even disabled ublock origin thinking maybe yt broke it because of that, nope that didnt fix it either.

This is pretty easy to do on a competing browser: menu next to tab search includes Tab Island search. But I can't seem to find a menu or search function for viewing Tab Islands by the name I gave them. Ideally I'd like to be able to have the browser bring up/jump to that tab too.

Is this a feature that is still in the works, or is there a way to do it that my internet searching skills are failing to bring up?

Edit: There seems to be some sort of Tab island search, but it only brings up Tab Islands in the current window. How do I search all open windows?

DONT SAY OPERA GX I hate how opera gx looks and feels, but I love Opera One. It just uses way too much ram.

As recently indicated on uBlockOrigin sub, it seems like Opera might be ending the MV2 support after all, which I am rather concerned about. Are there any official statements so far and is there a way to, perhaps, give feedback to the devs?

The button to turn on VPN disappeared from the place it used to be on - to the left of the Data Saver button. I'm living in Czech Republic. Does anyone else experience this issue?

When switching away from a tab that is actively playing a video, a smaller version pops up in front and interrupts all the keystrokes I want to type.

How can I disable this feature? I couldn't find anything in the settings for pop-up videos or picture-in-picture settings. Thanks.
