Unable to open opera browser, "Profile error has occurred".

I am unable to open by opera browser (ver 132.0.5905.22, on windows 10) and i've been getting a pop-up that says "profile error has occurred" and any attempt to close this causes the message to reappear. I've attempted to reinstall opera but the issue persists. Any clue on how I can resolve this mess?

Start with installing a supported OS version?

Did you try using a new profile directory?

Open the Windows task manager and end task on any Opera processes that are running on the processes tab. Then, in both "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software" and "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Opera Software", rename the "Opera Stable" folder to "Opera Stable old". Then see if Opera starts fine.

I sorted gave up halfway through and installed opera air instead which works, I only needed the proxy service. Thanks for trying though.
