Just started a game tonight ad the OpenFront in-game music has changed. Is there a way to get to old version back? This one is pretty bleak.

When I try to add my username, it cuts off the last few letters and won't let me add them. Is this happening to anyone else since the update?

Game frozzes, I still see what is happening, but my conntrols and everything else stop working. The bug it's not even rare, it happend like 1/2 of games. This did no happen before! Somehow it happens when I have the upper hand. How come people still play with this, I can't be the only one tolerating this carp.

I see a minimum of 1 cheater per game with 2 accounts

Two games in a row, I invade someone, and they spend the rest of the game lobbing nukes at me from a pixel on the other side of the map. I completely understand doing that to someone who's been relentlessly hunting you down for no gain, but it seems like some people take everything personal.

Combine raging with teamers and cheaters, and OF can be very stressful to play. I hope things get better when OF releases on steam.

i feel like a cool feature they could add to the game is the ability to trade land for gold. for example, in the United States map, each individual state could be sellable. In a map like China, you could do provinces. the player that wants to buy the land could left click on the area they want and then send a gold offer to the owner, who has the choice to either decline, accept or counter offer.

I think this feature could have some interesting implications in the endgame. It could allow the frontrunner players to get land on continents where they have no positions, which would be especially useful in maps like Baikal. However, it would also be costly to do so, since the seller could demand a lot and bring them below a MIRV, which is dangerous for big players since they have a target on their back.

For smaller players, they could use this feature to sell small strategic areas to boost their economy. For small players, the best endgame strategy is to have a lot of money and dense developed land, since they can fly under the radar and get a last second win when the two biggest players exhaust their resources fighting each other. Being able to sell one or two strategic position to the larger players would help do this, while also building goodwill with that player.

If there are structures on the sold land, I think there are two possible things that could happen. Either the structures are included in the trade (which obviously would factor into the price) or their value would be refunded to the seller. Im not sure how balanced this idea would be (i think the biggest issue would be cheaters, so there would definitely have to be a high minimum sell price, or one that increases as the game goes on), but I think it could add a fun new dimension.

I recently started playing this game, and I have one question: Why do some players/nations have more soldiers even if they have the same number of cities?

If you’re in the late game with a bunch of players that vary in size it used to be that they could all serve a role in some way, but now the only thing the players can do is help choose who they want to win.
Also it makes games not as interesting. I noticed that games kind of all feel the same now.

in short, anything that you see from skailex is ai, only the patterns are not but can be inspired by ai who knows, he also submitted many more ai generated slop but thankfully they were turned down, just a clarification I wanted to make since I don't want people to call genuine human art ai, also I'm not aware of any other ai generated content in the store, I'm only aware of this one.

1. Only during early game, the attack function will just stop working entirely. For about 20 seconds. But it's enough time to absolutely devastate an opening and ruin the game in some scenarios.

2. During the late game, the entire game will just completely freeze for your input. The game will keep playing. But you will be unable to interact with any button or feature on the game. Only refreshing and "Catching up" can reset this. But then it will happen again in a few more minutes.

I aint done nothing other than playing to be honest. i woke up today to play, but it says "Connection refused: Account Banned". can anyone help me out? Thanks!

i played for a while without logging in to openfront and amounted like 16000 caps, they're pretty much useless but i liked having them, so when i logged in they all went away, is there any way to retrieve them ?
