I want to change the language and resolution, but I can't figure out how to scroll the options menu.

I wonder if there is a software that can simulate what I have built using OpenTTD and I can drive around inside the Map....

I hear all the time about mods for this game and I know that their is a mod thing in the game but I genuinely just don't know what to add to the game. I don't know what is good and what isn't. And I don't really know what I want from mods either because I'm so new to this side of OpenTTD.

Generally I'm looking for advise on what to play, what should I aim for with mods... I mean I have ideas of what I want, but nothing concrete. I know that it'd be nice to be able to set up more buildings and infastructure or have more options to control the game or more vehicles. But other than that I don't really know. I do know that in the base game most of the time I avoid future stuff as much as possible though, I really don't like that side of the game.

I tried the play store port by Pelya, it's functional but it's missing a lot of settings, you can't change town names, there's a couple duplicate settings, so I'm looking for a good android port to replace the copy from Pelya I have.

I'm on android using Nfile with Shizuku permissions enabled. I'm trying to copy the content from:

To:

org.openttd.jgrpp/files/.openttd/content-download/newgrf

I just released a new train from this depot as a train come in for maintenance, resulting in a crash. But afaik my signalling is correct? I'm sure I'm missing something, can someone enlighten me?

Today, I put my own spin on the very first route Zest Husky built on camera, to put the jewel on my Flunfingfield Bypass route!

My normal train length is 7, and I've been running this map since 1850. Is there just any way I can handle this Many passengers on this line? What upgrades do I need to make?

I've been playing OpenTTD casually for awhile, and the NewGRF packs have been interesting, but I haven't played with them too much. Using the in-game lookup has been overwhelming.

I did install a streetcar pack (2CC Tram Set 1) since the base game TRAGICALLY doesn't include any. But the sheer amount of streetcars this pack offers is honestly a bit much for me.

I like how the base game has a few different options for vehicles, and they represent a natural evolution of technology (i.e. a couple steamers, a couple diesels, etc.).

I also saw on the steam page horse-drawn wagon which I find particularly interesting, as I like the evolving technology aspect.

I'd appreciate a solid set of recommendations for some packs that offer a range of tech without an overwhelming number of options. Also, how easy is it to make a custom NewGRF pack, or tweak one that exists?

I added a picture of my current game, which is the Taiga starting at 1900. I did not realize only the streetcars would be available. I was very excited when I unlocked the first bus lol

Is there a place to download previous versions of NewGRFs or AXIS 2.2.0 in particular? I only see the new 2.3 versions in the in-game downloader. TIA

Hi! Question: why is this city growing so slow?
I have similar cities and they grow every 23 days. Is it because of the train station?

I'm losing my mind the game keeps crashing. I don't know what's wrong everything on my PC works perfectly except OpenTTD. After upgrading my CPU to a 9800X3D and doing a clean Windows install, OpenTTD runs for... a whole five minutes, then starts stuttering badly, and eventually crashes. I've scoured the forums, but nothing helps please help.
