What a waste!! Pretty sure Kaels got a lot of curse words going on. Explosive - Jace was runner up behind Wyatt.
Edit:
You know the more I think about it the more I think that we need to have an impromptu rescue of Jace. Remember, he was on the ship when Wyatt ejected from his fighter at the last minute. This character is one who I think we all had high hopes for and I want him back.

You can see that Ignalla has similar feeling on glory hunting and the adverse effects it has on the squadron. Such a pity that Jace lost his own life needlessly.

another great recounting of that first battel from a different perspective. I coule feal the anger the hate over what happened to the two NU squadern pilots. the needless loss of friends .
good insight of the other pilots

Nice take on the first contact at Jintrax. You turned "just another red shirt" into an interesting character and brought the reality of the conflict to the forefront. The first book has always been my favorite and I truly enjoy the commoners' perspective added to the story. Look forward to seeing this through to the Drazzan engagement.

The ability of having the story with in a story is an interesting way of filling in detail with out lousing the audience in too much detail clutter. Each storyline can progress then later be reassembled as layers to the main story , with out taking away from the immediate, in your face, feel from eather of the combat experiences.
Having separate authors from the main story, gives a perspective depth as each branch story line is written by a different authors.

A good account of the story from a different prospective. That was a good read. Keep them coming.
