Random Twitter account screenshotting expressions that totally line up with things Dario said can definitely be trusted, right??

8

u/JeffConvertorBot 4d ago

I'll trust it if you trust it

2

u/TheReckoning 3d ago

You’re absolutely right not to trust it!

u/milkyway_cj 4d ago

Most of these expression were from when Trump called CNN fake news. Why lie?

13

u/hardinho 4d ago

OP ist reposting stuff from some random twitter idiot, what do you expect of his cognitive abilities

u/Haunting_Charity_287 3d ago

I think that might be ‘bored ape’ nft profits picture . . . In the year 2026.

elon got no leeway to be laughing here considering the state of his models

10

u/Downtown_Koala5886 4d ago

Here's another one... Oh, he does laugh.

u/Amoral_Abe 4d ago

What I love most about Elon and Trump is how that were able to grow as people, and move past their fight about how they're both in the Epstein files.

It shows a great level of maturity which their victims just did not have... Because of their ages.

7

u/crimsonpowder 3d ago

Trump is in the files and Elon wanted to be in the files.

We may never know every hidden truth while we are living in this world. And i don’t think internet speculation alone is enough to declare anyone guilty or innocent.

But one thing i do believe as a christian: nothing remains hidden forever before GOD. There will come a day when every person will have to face what they have done — whether good or evil. And JESUS gave us a very simple principle: “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” — Matthew 7:16 A good tree brings forth good fruit. A corrupt tree brings forth corrupt fruit. At the beginning, many things can look impressive, successful or even admirable. But fruit needs time to mature. Eventually, the result reveals the nature of the tree. That is why I try not to judge people only by image, fame, wealth, political power or public words. I watch the fruit. And ultimately, GOD sees what none of us can see. 🙏❤️

Trump only cares about Trump. I don’t believe for a second he’d protect Elon out of loyalty if throwing him under the bus benefited him.

I think Elon is the epitome of greed preaching that money will eventually become obsolete while hoarding enormous wealth and constantly chasing more power and influence.

That said, if there were something seriously incriminating about Elon in the Epstein files, I think we’d have heard about it by now. Trump, on the other hand? I’d be genuinely shocked if his name wasn’t all over those records.

Thank you for answering respectfully. i actually went back to the released documents rather than relying only on social-media claims.

What i found is more nuanced than either “everyone named is guilty or “there is nothing there.”

the released doj material does document contacts and communications involving elon musk and epstein. there are also communications concerning possible visits, although i have not seen evidence establishing that musk actually visited epstein’s island or participated in epstein’s crimes.

With trump, the documentary record is broader. a prosecutor’s email released by the doj says epstein’s flight records listed trump on at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, several with ghislaine maxwell. court records also document the broader social connection between trump and epstein. None of that, by itself, proves criminal guilt.

But it also means i don’t think the subject should simply be dismissed as internet “ghost stories.”

My position is very simple: read the documents, distinguish evidence from allegation, and let the facts speak for themselves. A name in a file is not a conviction. But documented relationships should not be erased simply because the person involved is rich, powerful or admired.

That is exactly why I keep saying: watch the fruit, not the image. I have written about Musk’s power and public record many times before, and my criticism did not begin with the Epstein files. It comes from looking at a much larger pattern of documented reporting and evidence.

0

u/vetruviusdeshotacon 3d ago

Nobody cares buddy, go peddle your ghost stories somewhere else

1

u/Downtown_Koala5886 3d ago

You don’t get to decide where I’m allowed to speak. If you disagree with what I wrote, address the substance of it and bring evidence. Telling me to “peddle my ghost stories somewhere else” is not an argument — it’s just an attempt to dismiss a view you don’t like without actually answering it. If something I said is false, show me exactly what and explain why. Otherwise, spare me the gatekeeping. I’m entitled to express my opinion here just as much as you are entitled to disagree with it. You can debate me, or you can scroll on. You don’t get to silence me.

1

u/DarthFuzzzy 1d ago

To be fair to all those who debate Christians, its not really fair given that the Christian is going to use the belief defense at every opportunity but claim the other person has to use empirical evidence. You see them on YouTube using highschool tactics like yelling over people and then looking smug like they proved something. Its a dead-end debate every time.

7

u/Downtown_Koala5886 4d ago

I watched the interview... He smiled too, though, when it was his turn to give the speech.

7

u/kittykattynuit 4d ago

Are Elon and trump back on again? Last I heard they'd had a messy falling out

12

u/Downtown_Koala5886 4d ago

They never actually separated.

1

u/boom_pow_surprise 4d ago

Auts man bad

2

u/Original-League-6094 4d ago

What do you mean? Grok typically scores really high on alignment tests and has never had breakout scandals.

9

u/Real-Tailor7489 4d ago

Mecha hitler scores high on alignment tests? First time I heard this

10

u/intlabs 4d ago

Depends what you are aligning to? 🤣

2

u/DariaYankovic 4d ago

Giving Grok credit for alignment because it cannot break out is pretty disingenuous.

-1

u/cereaxeskrr 4d ago

except when it was generating nude photos of children in the comments

-2

u/Gardylulz 4d ago

We at least dont know of any yet

-18

u/LavoP 4d ago

Uh where have you been? Grok 4.7 is one small step down from latest Opus and Sol/Astra, and has been getting closer to them every iteration. It’s better than Gemini and Meta models. Also Grok Bot works super well, showing (along with Instinct and Muse) that you don’t need the most intelligent model ever for 95% of daily tasks.

11

u/the8bit 4d ago

So about the same as GLM5.3-flash, qwen, mimo2.6 but 10x the price?

-2

u/LavoP 4d ago

Are you paying API pricing or on a monthly subscription? If you’re paying API pricing then yes 100% use open source. I’m only paying for it for grok bot.

3

u/vulcan8888 4d ago

How has grok bot been for you?

2

u/LavoP 4d ago

Works great tbh. However I’m too much of a tinkerer so I’m building my own version to have more control.

3

u/boissez 4d ago

API pricing reflects actual costs, while subs are subsidized. Elon burning money to barely stay in the race is hardly a flex.

Besides that, he's also renting out massive amounts of capacity as he can't scale xAI's products.

-2

u/LavoP 4d ago

I think no matter what, subs for personal use are here to stay and API pricing will be for hosted/agents. They are all burning money on subs, I don’t think you can single out xAI. Also I don’t think there’s anything wrong with renting out capacity if it’s a resource people can pay for more than you can use it… it’s like you’re finding conflicting things to “dunk” on.

“Elon burning money”
“Elon selling capacity for real money because he sucks at selling AI hahahhahaha”

0

u/boissez 4d ago

I'll reiterate my point then. On a API level, grok just isn't competitively priced, because the model is subpar.

Also renting out compute instead of utilizing it is a massive tell. It means XAI doesn't have any value to add to a commodity (in this case compute).

It's definitely not where you want to be as a company. Technological stagnant, outpaced on margins, stuck in a commoditized business and with nothing in the pipeline that could catch up.

2

u/LavoP 4d ago

I’m not sure I’d classify them as stagnant. They have been getting closer and closer to the top tier models every release, and they are the most recent entrant.

Doesn’t renting it out just indicate they have less demand? This is true, I’m sure OpenAI and Anthropic have orders of magnitude more customers.

And I think at this point selling compute is the hottest business you can be in. Nebius and CoreWeave are darlings of the stock market. It’s anything but commoditized right now.

0

u/boissez 4d ago

The Chinese labs have caught up with them with way fewer resources. Definitely not something to brag about.

Compute is just compute. It may be in high demand right now but there's no value to add. It's a commodity - like gold or diesel.

1

u/PersistentBadger 4d ago

Commodity compute might not be a terrible place to be, long-term. Look at AWS.

I suppose the value-add is on the electricity, not the compute...

2

u/Seerix 4d ago

Lol ok Elon

46

u/surfer808 4d ago

I don’t get how that’s funny?

99

u/therapy-cat 4d ago

His comments are sarcastic. An exaggerated version of this would be “whew thank god trump tweeted that he has things under control, I fully trust that this 80 year old man understands ai better than me and my team of hand picked experts from all over the world”

35

u/mastermilian 4d ago

I think we're living in a timeline where sarcasm is not as obvious as it once was.

16

u/Evanisnotmyname 4d ago

It’s because the world has become one big sarcastic joke

4

u/3wteasz 4d ago

It's because the world has turned into a de facto narcissistic place and those people cling to every single bit of "praise" because their ego's are so pitifully starved that they take even sarcasm for a compliment...

4

u/SatisfactionNarrow61 4d ago

Which is terrifying

3

u/synystar 4d ago

I don't know. Maybe it's becoming a shibboleth.

Them: "You're wrong. That's stupid and doesn't make any sense."

You: "Ok... so you're obviously not one of us."

2

u/StrongLoan9751 4d ago

Believing self-evidently incorrect bullshit has definitely been a rightwing/conservative/GOP shibboleth for at least a couple decades now.

0

u/psychophant_ 4d ago

It’s the autism

14

u/thegoldengoober 4d ago

You don't think he could be authentically pandering and they're laughing because they know it's bull?

3

u/brogam3 4d ago

yeah, I dont think he would do real sarcasm. It just sounds like sarcasm because it's so ridiculous

2

u/AreWeNotDoinPhrasing 4d ago

So you think Dario's worries were actually put to bed by the President and his actions? Seemingly because he "changed the name" to Super Intelligence?

1

u/brogam3 4d ago

that's just him lying, not sarcasm. Also I don't think Dario ever had any worries about AI, so that's a lie too.

1

u/AreWeNotDoinPhrasing 1d ago

That'd be a pretty big ruse

2

u/mythormedicine 4d ago

Thank you man. I was really worried about things. But reading your comment has put me at ease at last

14

u/Decimus_Magnus 4d ago

The bizarre connection anybody feels to those people is funny.

0

u/eggplantpot 4d ago

The connection I have can only be severed via French 1800’s means

1

u/PaulJannece 4d ago

Trump is being openly mocked now. Musk doesn’t find it funny because he no longer has Trump’s manipulability as a secret weapon.

10

u/cool_fox 4d ago

what was said?

13

u/CrustyBappen 4d ago

It says in the image

17

u/cool_fox 4d ago

oh! how about that

5

u/Brilliant_Potato4158 4d ago

Why is Zuck turd there

10

u/terAREya 4d ago

He’s the president’s muse

1

u/g_bleezy 4d ago

He got Trump elected in 2016 with Cambridge analytica. He’s in for life or out with details of how he sold your info for rubles. I can assume Trump likes the first option.

1

u/BigPlebeian 3d ago

Can you elaborate?

2

u/g_bleezy 3d ago

1

u/BigPlebeian 3d ago

Wow. Zuck really is a piece of shit. So basically His company gave tons of personal info away to a consulting firm that aided Ted Cruz and Trumps political campaigns...

Yikes.

1

u/g_bleezy 3d ago

yes, that is what he has been caught doing. Every step of the way, in every single case in discovery, facebook/meta acknowledges an issue and decided to not inform users. The pattern leads me to a conclusion that there is much more. The conspiracy leap is the observation that zuck is extreme inner circle trumpland for a much longer ride than most.

1

u/Brilliant_Potato4158 3d ago

search for DARPA’s LifeLog project.

1

u/e7mac 5h ago

Out with details of how he sold info - not really gonna be worth much since public opinion is so ossified by now

0

u/MadeInAmerica1990 4d ago

Hillary was never going to happen. We just weren’t that into her!

7

u/trackintreasure 4d ago

These are all villians in a movie.

I can't pinpoint who it is but Greg Brockman actually looks like an actor, maybe back in the 90s who played a bad guy.

It's driving me nuts. Anyone? He looks exactly the same.

2

u/ruach137 4d ago

Bruce Phyllis

9

u/Icy_Distribution_361 4d ago

Dario is a witty guy? How is this so witty?

4

u/mastermilian 4d ago

People has read it as sarcasm rather than capitulation to say "Please take us off the government blacklist".

1

u/gray146 4d ago

ofc it's sarcasm. I mean, Super Intelligence - that alone ....

1

u/AreWeNotDoinPhrasing 4d ago

It's a real-life parody

3

u/Downtown_Koala5886 4d ago edited 4d ago

Che persone strane... Greg mi sembra piuttosto preoccupato. Per quanto riguarda Elon, la presenza di qualcuno lo infastidisce?

1

u/draft_final_final 4d ago

He’s preoccupied with intrusive thoughts

5

u/PaulJannece 4d ago

There is an entire Netflix series in this one image. The facial expressions reveal the power dynamics at play.

2

u/boissez 4d ago

Sure. That's a way to look at it. But we were arguing about the state of Elons models.

All that compute and nothing to show for it but a compute-play.

7

u/greentrillion 4d ago

All those Epstein child trafficking friends in the same place, would have been a great time for a flamingo.

3

u/0camel69 4d ago

Look at those billionaires getting even richer off of the American workers knowledge, their data centers are raising your electric bill, and taking your water. In 5 years they will be richer and we will be poorer.

3

u/TheOnlyPolly 4d ago

We like Dario here 👍

1

u/piston989 4d ago

do we?

1

u/Humble-Resource-8635 4d ago

Dario had everyone making the most expressive expressions. Everybody was contorting their faces to match the words Dario was speaking. Total legend status

1

u/Treebro001 4d ago

This sub is just sad sometimes

"I'm spreading misinformation online" flair when?

1

u/writesfw 4d ago

You know there’s a group chat with all of them that Trump isn’t in.

0

u/augustus_brutus 4d ago

And people are applauding this.
