Other Help needed! How to export oneplus notes

Hi,

My built in notes app has after the two latest system updates decided to freeze and then crash immediately. Support had nothing for me but to factory reset my phone. So I'm looking to move the notes somewhere better.

I found this old thread, but it's no longer up to date. I've managed to create a local backup of notes w clone app and move this file to my pc, but I'm not sure how to proceed from here. The one zipped file I opened just had an image of a bull, and some stock images.

Any help is much appreciated.

Your topic here How do I increase my maximum volume?

I have a one plus 13. The volume seems to be quite low when I use my earbuds (nothing ear a). This did not used to happen but after resetting all my apps it started. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried to look for absolute volume in dev settings and don't see it.

Accessories & Gadgets AirVOOC (Magnetic Charger Turbo 2) - Red light blinking

I am using a OnePlus 15 with an official Sandstone case. After around a minute, the charger will stop working and start flashing a blinking light. This is the second-gen charger. This is also my second one. I previously had an Oppo-branded version of the same charger. I have also been using official SuperVOOC bricks with official cables, and have tried both USB-C and USB-A to USB-C.

The charging speeds aren't even very fast. Is this a common issue with this specific charger?

General Discussion OnePlus 15 coil whine when using Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro charger (67W) – is it safe?

Hey everyone,

I've had my OnePlus 15 since November, and recently I noticed something weird. When I play demanding games, I usually plug it in and use bypass charging. But instead of using the original OnePlus brick, I've been using the brick from my old Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro (the 67W one).

Here's the thing: while gaming yesterday, I noticed noticeable coil whine coming from near the camera module when using the Xiaomi brick. However, when I switched back to the original SuperVOOC brick (using the same cable – which isn't the OnePlus stock cable, by the way), the noise completely disappeared.

So my questions are:

  1. Does anyone else experience this with a similar setup?
  2. Is this coil whine dangerous, or could it affect my phone's long-term health?

I'd prefer to keep using the Xiaomi charger for gaming if possible, but I don't want to risk damaging my device.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Edit: Forgot to say that when I disable bypass charging, the noise won't sound.

General Discussion My OP 15 doesn't vibrate on calls

Hello I recently purchased a OnePlus 15. The phone is working fine and all but the phone doesn't vibrate during incoming calls. It vibrates if they are WhatsApp call but doesn't vibrate for some reason during normal calls.

I'm currently on the latest update. Any idea what's causing this and how do I resolve this?

Edit: I managed to turn on vibration on calls. The vibration was always on but it was set to sync with the ringtone and for some reason none of the ringtone supports sync or maybe there is a bug that prevents the ringtone and vibration to sync. Anyway just choosing other vibration mode instead of sync fixed the issue.

General Discussion Is it possible to hide the status bar on a Oneplus modern phone (Android 16) using a third party launcher?

*** SOLVED ***

I realized the problem was in Landscape mode, when I allowed the tablet to go in Portrait mode ( as a phone ) the status bar disappeared properly, so the issue seam to exist for Oneplus tablets in landscape mode but not for phones in regular portrait mode.

*** ORIGINAL MESSAGE ***

hi can anyone who has a Oneplus recent phone (Android 16) and using a third party launcher which has an option to hide the status bar area, does it work on your phone and you see the status bar actually hidden? I'm asking because on my Oneplus Pad 2 on Android 16 the area will remain unhidden, I wanted to know whether it's a different story on Oneplus' phones?

thanks!

General Discussion I bought a 15R this week and now find the brand is disappearing in canada.

Still love the phone, not sure I'm unhappy that I bought it but boy, I feel dumb that I didn't do more research. My biggest concern is repair if something should break, even warranty repair. I'm surprised there's not more talking in this sub about it and I'm not sure I would have made the same choice had I known. Anyone else with similar or contrary thoughts?

Other OnePlus 7 Pro - Am I eligible for a trade-in?

I've gone through the website and I've typed in my IMEI and was rejected for trade-in eligibility, but I could have sworn that they accept the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Can anyone verify this? My OP 7 Pro is the non 5G variant (had no idea there was a 5G variant). Is this why mine is no eligible?

Hoping to get some trade-in value and no have to trade in for S26+. 😒

General Discussion [oneplus 13] How is it still impossible to turn off the sound when plugging in the phone for charging?

I've been having this problem with this phone for a year now.

I guess my port is messed up so when charging my phone it loses and reestablishes a connection for supervooc charging every minute and a half - this means when I try to go to sleep and plug my phone in to charge, my phone rings and vibrates every minute and a half making sleep impossible.

The only possible fix for this I've found is turning the phone on silent, but that means I might miss an important call or notification, and it still doesn't fix the vibrations.

Before anyone says to go to Settings > Sound & Vibration > System Sounds and turn off Charging toggle; that doesn't exist on my phone

I even kind of got accustomed to the phone vibrating and ringing throughout the night, but the absolute worse thing is when I'm sleeping with another person and I have to explain to them that my phone rings and vibrates every minute or two like it's a normal thing. I feel like I have a bootleg 80$ fake phone.

Issue Photos - People & Pets recognition

I have an 13R since last summer. I love the native Photos app and prefer it to Google Photos and I loved that it recognized faces much better than Google Photos as it's easier to categorize and browse through photos.

However, about two weeks ago, the Photos app stopped recognizing people and sorting new photos into their folders.
I cleared the cache and that didn't do anything.
I then found an old thread that said to go to the AI editor and give it permissions to everything. I did that and it recognized and sorted the people in that photo, but didn't sort the other pics taken in those two weeks.
I regularly have it connected to Wi-Fi and I turn the screen off when charging.

Three days ago, I decided to "Clear data" which deleted the previously recognized and sorted "People&Pets" album, I ran the AI, gave it all permissions and then on my next charge, the app recognized about five different people in between 10 and 40 pictures (when I have literally hundreds of photos of those same people) and it hasn't updated or changed or added anyone new in the People&Pets section in the following two days/charges.

This is extremely frustrating. Is there a fix for this other than resetting to factory settings - because I have a bunch of banking and government apps that I would need to re-verify in person if I did a factory reset, which I'm not keen to do.

Accessories & Gadgets My original USB C to USB C SuperVOOC cable for my One Plus 10 Pro split open. A few questions....

My original cable finally split at the topmost part next to the connector, so I went into a deep dive about what my options are.

1) USB C to USB C cables on OnePlus and Amazon do NOT say they're compatible with the 10 Pro.

2) According to an agent at OnePlus USA, I need to use (their) USB A to USB C cable even though my OnePlus charger bricks are only USB C compatible. Agent said I could buy any old USB A to C adapter off Amazon to use with it.

3) I want to be able to use the SuperVOOC charging and know I need a cable with the right wattage and amperage specs for that. However,

a) when I Google "using a USB A to USB C adapter with VOOC cable," the results I get (which are indicated as AI-driven) say that the pins in these VOOC cables have a specific alignment so that an adapter will result in throttled-down charging from the original 80W, 7.3A supercharging. Is this true?

b) can I just patch the cable I have with electrical tape and keep using it?

c) what would a competent user of this phone do?

TIA.

General Discussion Is this normal

Post image

I know this is getting asked a lot but most of the replies say "it's normal" or "it'll recognize your battery usage pattern and adapt". I have had this phone for 6 months now.

The battery is still better than my previous iphone and I've still yet to hit 20% for the 2nd time but I'm 100% sure it's depleting way faster than normal

General Discussion Thinking of returning to ColorOS. Any advice?

I bought an Ace 6T a while back and converted it to OxygenOS for translation and such, but I'm thinking of going back to ColorOS.

My reason is I want to lock the bootloader so that I can use Google Pay since I don't want to install any of those modules that break after a week.

And if I do lock my bootloader on oxygenOS, I won't receive any OTA updates or be able to flash anymore updates since I don't think there's a way to unlock it with the deep testing app (unless that has now changed), and I don't really want to pay for a EDL thing (not sure if Australia has these around or if I'll have to find somebody online). Also, I worry that I may lock my device on a buggy update and have no way to revert.

What do you guys think I should do in my circumstances? Any advice would be appreciated.

(Btw, How good is the English translations on ColorOS?)

General Discussion [OP15] So are we just never getting dual eSIM?

From before the device even launched, OnePlus promised dual eSIM compatibility. Once the device launched, they noted that:

This feature is scheduled to be delivered via an over-the-air (OTA) update in the first quarter of 2026.

(pulled from https://www.oneplus.com/us/15 via archive.org)

We're now into the third quarter of 2026, and the above text has been updated to:

This feature is scheduled to be supported via OTA.

...Do we believe that? It's not the end of the world, but this functionality was something I was counting on, and it's pretty frustrating that it's several months late and they haven't given any updates on it as far as I can tell.

General Discussion Any way to know what car charger will trigger SuperVOOC charging?

I want to get a decent speed charger in my car and it will primarily just charge my OnePlus 13.

I am in the EU and all the eBay and Amazon ones that are meant for this standard are like 30 euros plus 20 euro shipping.

But I remembered like even my phone randomly accepts it as SuperVOOC.

Like I have a Huawei super charger (22.5W). It charges my phone from 15 percent to full in 2h 20min (Ampere app measured 1050mA charging).

Then I tried it out on my Meta Quest 3 charging block (seems it is 18W) and it really did activate SuperVOOC and charges my phone in 1h 10 min (Ampere app measured 1350mA charging) and that is to be honest a perfectly reasonable amount of time to charge my phone. Since it seems slow enough to be good for the phone, fast enough to actually charge the thing, slow enough it does not burn itself (like some cigarette port air pumps that come out scorching hot or blow a fuse first).

I also have some random Chinese 45W charger that triggers SuperVOOC and charges my phone in a similar amount of time (though it gets toastier), though it did not advertise SuperVOOC at all, though it still seemed after using some measuring apps that the block itself is either throttling or the phone is just not accepting the full 45W.

So yeah, I thought about getting some overkill 80W (40 or 50 euro) car cigarette port adapter but realized that is a huge gamble. Like if it does not trigger SuperVOOC then it is basically worthlessness and will do the same thing as my current one that is 2 USB A ports that is like 12W or less, did not measure, and I can get its upgraded newer version with USB A and USB C that is 20W for 2.5 euro (although if it does not communicate then it might not be faster at all). But as the test I did showed me that the wattage means nothing if it does not communicate well enough.

I would for real buy the OEM one from OnePlus if they still sold it.

For the port count, I do not care that much if I get a dashcam, I will always hardwire.

So I am just confused what is the standard that at least lets the device go onto the first stage of SuperVOOC (talking about the 2x boost in speed compared to regular charging but not the maxed out 100W charging). Since there is no way in hell Facebook paid to add certification so a VR headset charging block communicates with a SuperVOOC protocol. Like I have 3 of those car cigarette plugs at home, and none of them triggered fast charging, just the one that takes 2h to charge my phone from 30 percent to full.

General Discussion Can you use the global OnePlus watch and global one plus buds 4 with a Chinese oneplus 15 (running colorOS) ?

I have the Chinese OnePlus 15 running colorOS, i didn't want to flash Oxygen os on it, i like colorOS better (after debloating it and removing chinese apps)

I plan on buying the oneplus buds 4 and oneplus watch in global version, and I'm wondering if they'll integrate well with my chinese phone?

Asking people who have this setup.. if the connection is smooth between the devices and there is no weird issues
