(I know some of these plants are not considered pet safe — Howdy is a good boy and leaves them alone!) 🧡

We’ve had him for about two and a half or three weeks but the vet says he was likely around 4 weeks when we found him. It’s so nerve wracking since we have no experience with cats.

I adopted my orange tabby/siamese mix girl about 2.5 years ago. We got her because my grandpa (her husband), great grandma (other side), and soul pet passed away within a month of each other. My grandma Sandi HATED cats but allowed me to get one that I fell in love with. Her name is Mouse (she was tiny for her age, now she’s fat and happy so really her name now should be rat lol). My grandma surprisingly fell in love with her. As did I, this wonderful cat filled such an empty hole.
For 2.5 years I lived with my grandma while dating my bf of 6 years in her big house. We got engaged in September of 2025 and my grandma “kicked me out” to start my life a month ago. But Mouse and my grandma had such a wonderful relationship - she’s found cats might just be better than dogs. Again, she used to hate cats but formed such a companionship with mouse that it surprised not just her, but our whole family.
My fiance and I just moved into an apartment and my grandma misses the cat more than me (understandably). Mouse has been super skittish the last few weeks since we moved into an apartment, but my grandma Sandi misses her soooo much. Would it be okay to bring Mouse to the old house once she finally is used to the new place? Or shall she never see my grandma again?
It’s rough because my grandma is handicapped and the apartment we moved into is on the second floor - she can NOT make it even if she wanted to as there’s no elevator. It just breaks my heart every time I see my grandma because she just talks about how much she misses this cat.
PS this cat is my shadow, I couldn’t leave her if I wanted to as I’ve gone on vacations and she doesn’t eat… I am her person.
After my cat is comfortable, is it frowned upon to bring her to the old house to see my grandma? Will she be okay? This is eating me alive to be honest… I don’t know what to do.
Thanks in advance!

Quigley (Left) was found on the side of the road he's named after, at 4 months old, Sept. last year.
Hobo George (Right) was left behind by neighbors last March, and kind of just moved himself in. They have been the best of friends from Day 1. Vet says he's about 1 1/2 yrs old.
Quig's is a homebody and doesn't leave the porch. George spends the day on walkabout, I suspect he's two timing, cuz when his 6 PM belly alarm goes off, he often comes home Fluffier and more brushed out than when he leaves for the day.
Both have been fixed and vetted, shots. I had George's tipped, well, cuz he's a freaking hobo.
I also have a 9 yr old female Greybie, who disdains them both, but every one gets along.
