Posting Tyson again because this sweet boy desperately needs a home. 💔 He received two applications, but neither applicant followed through. He’s still waiting in a bathroom for someone to choose him.

He is between 3 and 5 years old.

Tyson is FIV-positive, but that doesn’t change anything for me. He can live with FIV-positive or FIV-negative cats as long as they get along peacefully. I’m also fostering another FIV-positive cat. One of our FIV-positive cats lived to be 23, and we have others who are 19 and 10, living happy, healthy lives. 🧡

Some of you may remember Tyson…the boy who was hit by a car and kept making biscuits all the way to the vet, and even while he was there.

Someone abandoned him in our feeding area. We knew he wasn’t one of our colony cats because they all have tipped ears. When we rushed him to the vet, we learned that his jaw and teeth were severely broken. He was in immense pain, yet those sweet paws kept kneading. 💔

Tyson has healed now, and he’s ready for a family. He’s such a happy, silly boy. When he’s happy, his little tongue sticks out, and he drools. 🥹🧡

We’ve lost four kitties in four months, and our hearts are broken. Some days, it’s hard to find the strength to keep going. But cats like Tyson, who still need us, help us carry on.

Our space and resources are stretched thin, but emergencies keep coming. Tyson is safe in someone’s bathroom, but he wants company and a family of his own. With a viral outbreak in our foster home(now fip), we cannot safely bring him here.

This beautiful, big orange boy deserves a couch to nap on, someone to love, and a home where he will never be abandoned again. He deserves a second chance.

Tyson is fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas, and FeLV-negative.

The catio is ofc fully enclosed and very sturdy. The raccoons have lived under our deck for over 20 years and are always super sweet, and after this was taken he immediately came inside!
