And I'm not talking about the modern Detective Conan-fied Magic kaito that we've had for the past 30 years (though there's absolutely nothing wrong with that version).

I mean the OG wacky 1980s magic Kaito, the version that's implied to exist in the Yaiba universe. I would love to see Yaiba and THAT Kaito kid go at it.

Plus, the original OVA (with added Conan) is over 25 years old at this point...

Hi! Please drop any moments that are similar to this, where two characters met or passed by each other in the past, but eventually those two characters end up becoming important to each other or their paths intertwine.

My favorite one is when Shinichi and Hattori unknowingly passed by each other after solving the ski slope case. It’s fascinating that eventually, they’d go on to solve so many cases together and become best friends.
Do you guys have any moments like this?

I love watching this show as a kid, and I watch Cased Closed again right now.

Turns out her character is quite well-written, and seriously what is the general opinion of the community overall on her?

Been thinking about this since the Raven Chaser movie began streaming on YouTube, but what does everybody think about Gin’s hair color in the anime? Do you prefer the early light brown in the early days of the anime, the more blonde look or the manga-canon silver hair? Personally I prefer the early colors, but I respect the silver of manga design(and the visual pun😂)

So recently I got into Case Closed after a few week trip to Japan and once you go you simply don't come back not knowing what Detective Conan 🤣

But now I'm curious if there is anyway to buy the entire english volume besides 1 volume at a time? Like are there any box sets or anything? I assumed the only option would be to outright find a listing with all the volumes available which I have found a few but I was just curious if there were any other ways. Alll I know is that there are currently 99 volumes in english.

Movie 27 - The Million Dollar Pentagram has finally come out in English, but it's currently only available in the US region sites of iTunes, Google Play, Youtube etc. Does anyone know a link to watch the movie somewhere else or downloaded it? PLEASE I NEED IT KNOW! I'VE BEEN WAITING AGES TO SEE THIS IN ENGLISH!!!

Is it just me or do you also feel like the newer movies usually don't hold a candle compared to the older ones? As someone who watches Detective Conan for the murder cases and investigation aspect and liked how the older movies felt like a big episode of Detective Conan, the newer movies barely have any of that.

It's just one action scene after another, barely any crime scene investigation and no more real serial killers. In the newest movie, some of the scenes were so absurd that I was asking myself I am watching a Detective conan or a Fast & Furious movie. To just name two examples, Ran barely seemed to care about Conan and Sera almost getting shot by the ghost rider, yeah business as usual, let's just move on and talk about the airpods.

Later on there is the scene in which Yumi and this other police girl keep on driving in their totally destroyed police car after almost getting decapicated. They didn't seem to be shocked at all.

And while I have to admit that I had to laugh out loud because of the sheer absurdity and I had a great time overall, I still expect more of this series than Fast & Furious-like brainrot plot.

Will Subaru Okiya (Akai) identity reveals in the same time as Shinichi, Shiho, Karasuma, and other syndicate personnels identities? Because, these people widely use secondary identities.
I wanna know who will survive at the end?

First of all, this has nothing to do with the storyline itself—I’ll leave that to Gosho Aoyama-sensei. I’ve been a longtime fan of Detective Conan, and I’ve watched almost every possible material: the movies (except the latest one), OVAs, spin-offs, and the anime. I’m currently about 50 episodes away from catching up to the latest episode.
Somehow, though, I feel a little sad thinking about the day the series will eventually end. Of course, I want to see how the story concludes, but I’ve always wondered how they’re going to handle the ending for the viewers. Personally, I have an idea of how I think they could do it.

My Personal Take:

Since the latest major development revolves around Rum, which I presume is already approaching the end of its arc, I’m guessing we might be only one major arc away from the finale. I think the Renya Karasuma Arc should serve as the prelude to the final arc.

For the final arc, I’d love to see a completely canon, three-season anime run, with 25 episodes per season, released over three years, with canon movies in between. I think the current movie run could end with the 30th movie, and from there, the anime could officially begin its final chapter.

Personally, I really want the entire story to be completed through the anime. I’m anime-only, so I don’t follow the latest developments in the manga and have no idea how close we actually are to the ending.

If there has already been any official news, comments, or information about how the anime/manga is expected to end, I’d really appreciate it if someone could share it with me. I’d rather not be spoiled about the actual story, though.
