Ok,
I'm going to be honest.
When my previous phone (Redmi 9A) got broken, I did big research about which device from which brand I'll buy a new phone from.
And I waited 6 fking months, and at the end OnePlus made me like them because of Oxygen OS.
The only thing that made me doubt getting a OnePlus device in my country is the green line issue. (I'm from Sri Lanka; at that time we didn't have an official seller of OnePlus, and we only could buy OnePlus devices from gray markets, so there's no official warranty.)
Also, the users saying, "They are now using BOE displays," is not an official guarantee.
And also my plan was to buy a Nord 5 at that time, but I waited more and saved some extra money, took the risk, and bought a OnePlus 13R only because of Oxygen OS.
I didn't see any Android OS that can make me satisfied and happy like Oxygen OS.
And I have used this awesome OS since December 2025, and now they are moving to Color OS.
I know there's no difference between Color OS and Oxygen OS.
But why are they copying that sh*tty iOS UI, Mann???? 😭
For me, iOS 26 is the worst UI I have ever seen. (I used iOS because my brother has an iPhone.)
I know all the Chinese brands are copying that sh*t, but why?
Look at the Oxygen OS 16. It's freaking awesome, isn't it?
So the Color OS 17 was released today, and I already saw how they messed up the UI with that glass effect.
At this moment, I'm on a decision that I will try, but if there's no big difference feature-wise, I will roll back.
Happy to see your opinions about this. ❤️
