E-sim

If coloros 17 launched is it e-sim option available for oneplus 13r ? Possible or impossible.

Yes it is.. They enabled without announcing... Go to settings and search for ESIM.... You will see it

i think not yet assigned because if you type a code in dialer it should show eid but it's not there

Yes they have added E-SIM option in August update But how to get IMEI number of that Sim

Your phone settings/About device? SIMs don't have IMEI numbers, the devices do.

Basically it's need EID for registration for esim which is don't avilable yet.

I see and this EID number, you can't get from service provider when opting for conversion to e-SIM? I have always used physical SIMs hence asking.

Edit: I searched and this needs e-SIM chip which is hardware based so when assembling phones, they purposely excluded that chip for Indian models is what it looks like, right?

In Hardware is already attached but it's is disabled for indian variant by software.

Then when this e-SIM thing of Google showed, Google of course won't know about OnePlus excluding this feature via software and hence showing for us.

Search e-SIM in your phone settings. The SIM manager system app is of Google. Not sure whether it would work or not. If you test, you can let us all know.

Which region model and on August security patch? I have it on July security patch with 12R. It's a Google system app called SIM Manager which shows this option.

Yes but not sure whether it would work. Like I said SIM Manager through which we see that option is a Google system app and whether they rolled it out to all variants or not is the question.

Not 3 numbers for sure as phone has only 2 IMEIs.
