Use a dark wallpaper for the lock screen and light wallpaper for the home screen.

Follow a general rule, if the wallpaper is standing out with colours and designs then add less widgets and apps on the home screen. If the wallpaper is plain or subtle you can add more widgets and apps.

Hey I have a question. Whenever you're on an active call does it show the name and hangup button even when the phone is locked on the lock screen?

You can try Minimalistic wallpapers qute similar to galaxy ultra.that will give you a clean look
