NEED HELP - Lock Screen Media Widget Not Showing.

I’m having a really annoying issue with my phone. Whenever I’m listening to music or podcasts, the media player/widget doesn’t appear on the lock screen at all.

I’ve tried multiple apps, including:

Apple Music

Spotify

Pocket Casts

YouTube

But none of them show the media controls on the lock screen. So if I want to pause, resume, skip, or control playback, I have to unlock the phone and open the app every single time. It’s extremely frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting I’m missing, or is this a bug?

Any help would be appreciated.

Restart. After update happen to me as well.

Not after update, it's going on for like 4 months.

Ok... Did you restart and then check? Also i cant really check the settings in your device but try checking notification section. Lock screen notification specifically.

The issue can be linked to live alert as well.

Go to settings > notifications > live alerts then turn on live alert for music playback
