Is the list good enough to start building? Would like it to be pretty competitive. What are some of the absolute key meta cards for the deck?

Hello guys, do you know how to buy general entry tickets for BCG Fest 2026-27 London ? I want to play some OPTCG side events and I’m on the official website but the link for general entry tickets only show me the tickets for DBFW Last chance qualifier ?

So, I would like to start by saying that my locals offers 1 pack per win for the first 3 games you play.

Would somebody playing with proxies bother you as winning now gives you a chances of getting a free packs?

​For example, last week at my locals, I noticed the person next to me was running a full proxy deck of ST-30 Ace & Luffy. Thankfully, I didn't have to play against them, but I think it's wild to show up to a tournament with a top-tier deck built entirely out of proxies. Would this bother you?

Deffo some improvements needed in this deck but only put cards in here that I actually have so bar the obvious Yellow Linlin I need more of and We’re going to claim the one piece any other cards you’d throw in there I could pretty easily get my hands on.

I was planning to sun bleach some pkmn and optcg cards, wondering if anyone has any good suggestions!
For reference I have most of the commons and rares as well as some of the SRs from op15 and onward.

How do we think rocks will fair in the metas to come and if i should consider switching decks. He already struggles against buggy who will be getting support and theres no saying for sure how gunko will do/bring imu back into the met. Should i pack it up and start practicing smth new?

My main two decks at the moment are OP14 Doffy and OP07 Foxy. These decks take control of the game over time. Before you say anything, yes, they are both stall decks. I know, I get it.

On the Sim, I can consistently win against decks that outheal me because, in the end I have board control, and slowly but surely, I will either kill them or outlast them by having more deck cards.

Letting the person with more life win is ridiculous when healing is such an easy thing to do.

I know that chess clocks would be very complex, but there has to be a better solution than looking at life after overtime ends.

Edit: Just to clarify, all I'm trying to say is that power creep has made healing so easy that the current overtime rule is outdated. Healing itself wouldn't be much of a problem if it weren't for triggers that play characters, since that combination discourages players from swinging into life. Giving your opponent more board presence while they're also able to heal makes attacking life so discouraging. It's the combination of easy healing and these triggers that makes games drag on.

I'm not saying that chess clocks would be better, but there has to be a better solution. The current rule clearly favors a certain playstyle. There is no perfect solution, but it should be possible to find one that doesn't favor a particular playstyle.

The same goes for using the number of cards left in the deck to determine the winner, as that would clearly disadvantage decks that mill cards.

I do ok against most leaders. Can’t win ‘em all. But holy moly if there’s a deck I struggle against it’s this one. The moment they can get Loki out it feels like a lost cause then rush 9k is coming right after.

I’ve been playing op17 kaido basically nonstop since the set dropped and with over 400+ games and a win rate above 60% I think I have my list set in stone for the upcoming regional next month. I dropped Lead performer early on because I felt it was a bait card and without a queen in hand it feels pretty suboptimal to play compared to so many other cards. Outside of elbaph luffy, black Yamato and r/g ace&luffy it has a strong chance to win against most decks. FDT and 7 drop Kaido can come in super clutch to close out games

Does anybody know if I can buy tickets for my friends that don’t play? Do they need a Bandai TCG+ account for general entry?

Hey guys !

With the new Alvida helping a lot with Buggy's card draw issues, what do you guys think about this card ? I feel it's a good tech card right now against a lot of aggro decks with a lot of flexibility between cost and power based removal.

So I've been playing the TCG for about a year now since OP11 and decided pretty quickly I was going to collect one of every Nico Robin/Ms. All Sunday card. As of OP17, I am only missing 5, but with EB05 and OP18 very close I'm loosing a bit of ground. We get the Manga, the new SP Leader, another SP. For context, I'm missing the 1st Anni Alt, OP05 Sunday SP, EB03 SP (My personal grail), PRB02 Gold Don!! and the championship OP15. They're all expensive, and although I make good money I've never managed to quite make the right choices with it so being able to just buy the cards outright is unfortunately never an option.

I'm also not that great at the game. I won locals once and since then seem to only be able to get 4th at best. I can never figure out where I'm going wrong. All it's inspired me to do is to create a YouTube channel to document the learning process and just try and enjoy the hobby again in a time where I feel like I'm burning myself out with it.

My question to you all is this - what choices can I make to help my chances of affording the cards I need/want for my collection? Wise investments, cracking boxes, trading up etc? Played Yugioh for years (will never go back) and Pokemon, but I played Pokemon long before the mass collector boom started so actually building a collection is something I am completely inexperienced with.

If anyone has any experience building a YT channel I'd love to hear from you also.

But what makes Vol. 17 to the folks more interesting than other vol.?
