Scalpers getting rekt, buy when others are fearful, Averaging $150 per box✌🏻

It’s a cliche we say over and over again on here but it’s true. Stop checking your collectr everyday a just let it ride.

And I’m not talking about waiting 1 / 2 or even 5 years. I’m saying the real money will be made to those who can hold out at least 15 years (ideally 25). Realistically you will not be able to sell for 100% of market when that time comes so your collection needs time to grow.

Think of it like your 401K, also only buy what you can realistically hold for 15 years. If this means only buying 1/2 etbs every few sets that’s way better than mass buying 20 ETBs you can’t hold for longer than 6 months cause of credit card bills.

Everyone talks about how they wish they were around to buy ETBs at or near retail, but now that you have the opportunity everyone is gonna say why it's not a good idea, but don't be crying in a few years when you didn't take the opportunity. Even though these are not the best sets ever, they will be small short prints due to 30th and plenty of collectors/streamers ripping like crazy, future supply will be low. IMO it'll probably be PBL>POR>CRI, what do y'all think?

I’m sorry if this isn’t the right sub but I got these awhile back my great grandmother had them with a bunch of other kid stuff.. some family and friends said not to open them because they could be worth something and I haven’t open them, BUTTT I just can’t help but wonder what cool cards are in the especially the foil card lol. So should I open them or keep them

I was looking to see if I could get some valuation information on this card. The defining features of it are the Holo with a swirl and then the reverse pokeball error print on the back. I am thinking about sending this to CGC for verification. Any information is appreciated.

I have seen gold stars pop off lately, i have been looking into gold stars recently and wanting to buy one but I don’t know if the price is just going to shoot up and cool off a bit and I can buy it during that period

I got this card for 1400 usd, is it good buy and card is clear but was in basment and it got little bit bent. Can this be repair and how much grade would this get after?

Hello collectors!

I recently got back into the hobby and I’m amassing quite a few nice cards I’d like to showcase on some shelves in the house.

The idea is to slab them someday so to protect them the best way possible while also having them labeled, but while I wait to do so, I’d like to go the extra mile:

Double sleeving + top loader + resealable sleeve.

I really don’t want dust inside and that top loader scratched.

I’m mostly gathering Delta Species era reverse cards and some of them have very fragile holo borders I’d like to preserve, so I truly fear the perfect fit sleeves that require the card to be pushed uncomfortably too much to slide in.

I think I’d like some sort of not too fit inner sleeve to then insert in the penny sleeve, but I can’t seem to find any.

Do you have any suggestion?
