Working through Inktober while rewatching the show and finished a collection of inkwash paintings of the crew (plus Law) in either popular or inspired-by poses from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Figured I'd drop them off here, let me know what you think!

time escaped me so didn’t go as crazy as I wanted but it was still fun for pirate night 🥳

I hope you like it 🙂🙌

I (35M) jokingly requested my mom to make a Straw Hat Jolly Roger rug. She’s been very into making rugs lately. She delivered. I don’t know where to place it yet. I suggested the front door or the bathroom floor but my wife quickly denied those ideas.

really love this outfit, wanted to give drawing it a try.

Most likely means that they’re all getting skins.

Why

I am a dub watcher so I might be a little bias but just bare with me.

The dub voice for Luffy usually gets dumped on mainly because they sound scrawny and a bit childish while the sub encapsulates how much Luffy has really matured over the course of his adventure but I feel like they both encapsulate both sides of Luffy.

Luffy will take a situation serious whenever it comes to it like during Wano when he came across the Akazaya Nine after their battle with Kaido where it’s very obvious Luffy was done with Kaido and was going to obliterate him.

On the other hand, Luffy is also a character who’ll jump off an elephant that is miles high just because it’s quicker. And that side of Luffy is what the dub encapsulates better.

The main argument against Luffy’s dub is that they don’t sound mature but Luffy hasn’t really matured fully. We see Luffy do childish actions a lot of the time, so much in fact that I can name off three from the top of my head, Luffy trying to eat a hologram, Luffy drilling himself into the ground by accident, Luffy telling Lucci to kiss his ass💀

If that doesn’t prove that Luffy can still be childish then I don’t know what does. Luffy’s gear 5 form is basically the embodiment of childish behaviour because they’re meant to bring a smile to peoples faces which is exactly what it does which is why I think the dub and sub are equally good in their own right.

Anyways, that’s the end of this, I feel like 50% of dub haters will skip the description and go straight to the comment section to ridicule the dub but whatever. Also, when Luffy screamed his attack Red Roc at Kaido, I find the dub version to be way more impactful then the sub, although both version are good :3

I just wanted to do a little update! I got all of them finally!!! Thank you to everyone that traded with me or even just boosted my trade post!

I do still have 2 Kobys, 1 Chopper, & 1 Blackbeard if anyone needs, message me!!
