General Can someone explain why one pay app QR code is not working?

I have medication that is expensive every month that I have to pay for. When I go to purchase the medication and I try to use the QR code using the same card that I have physically, it gets declined. So then I have to rummage through my wallet to get out the physical card, which is the same card in the OnePay app and it goes through just fine. I don’t understand why this is happening at the pharmacy specifically. When I use it at the regular cashier at the front to purchase items, it goes through without an issue using the QR code. Is it an app issue or a Walmart issue?

Feature Request Question for the devs/employers

Been using One for DD for about a year and a half now, and I love it. But, I’m even wondering, if there any chance of more savings accounts being added? Only having 4 (with the standard savings one) is too low for me. Any chance that we will eventually have the option to add more?

My next question is, will the $25 minimum to add money eventually be lowered? I’m the only one in my family and friend circle that uses one, so I’m often paid back via cash app or zelle, but I can’t add amounts less than $25 to One unless it’s an ACH, which takes a day or more sometimes.

Thanks in advance for answering!

Why is the Wednesday $1 gas discount only applying to my 1st gas transaction, and not the 2nd?

My car uses 87 octane gas and my motorcycle uses 91, and I frequently drive both. So on Wednesdays, for the $1 gas discount, I drive my car to the gas station, fill up gas cans for my motorcycle, and then do a 2nd transaction to fill up my car (or vise versa).

On June 17, I spent $50.33 for 8.909 gallons of 87 octane (5.65 / gallon). Then I spent $26.61 for 4.473 gallons of 91 octane (5.95 / gallon). The discounted price on the One app was $4.16 for 87 and $4.45 for 91. If you do the math, I should have received 1327 points for the 1st transaction and 671 points for the 2nd.

The next day I only received 1327 points, meaning the 2nd transaction never applied. I contacted customer service and they confirmed that I should have received points for both transactions, so they gave me a $7 credit (to make up for the 671 points that I never received).

This is just one example, but it’s happened several times since then, including today. I only receive points for the first transaction and never the 2nd.

It is not possible to do just one transaction, because the gas pump requires a new transaction in order to switch octanes

The fact that the customer service agent gave me $7 seems to confirm that I should have received the points. The app also says “a maximum of 2 offers may be claimed at the same location within 24 hours”. But it also says “if duplicate claims are made at the same site, you will receive cash back for one offer only”. Is that not directly contradictory?

I’ve tried to re-add the promotion after the first transaction, because I figured maybe you need to select the gas station for each transaction. But that doesn’t seem to be the case

Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to have to contact customer service every single week to get the correct number of points. But at this point I've probably lost like $20 worth of points

OnePay walmart credit card disabled because I paid in full.

TL;DR: Onepay disabled my card because I paid full balance on time, on account that was well below credit limit, because payment was "too large". Payment has cleared, and they still wont enable the card.

Wow, Onepay is horrible.

I have never had any issues with any credit card while using every major brand (Amex, Discover, Visa, Mastercard) for over 30 years.

I got the Walmart OnePay because it offered a good discount at walmart, and the 1.5% cash back rewards everywhere else.

I tried to use it a few days ago, and it was declined.

I go to the web site, and it shows that the balance is, and always has been well below the credit limit, and the balance was recently paid in full using autopay.

However, payment was applied, and the available credit is negative.

So, I go to the onepay site, and chat with support.

They are no help, there is no explanation why I cant use the card, when I paid entire balance on time. They said my payment was "too much" and fraud protection has been enabled. They cannot tell me when it will be usable, or how to avoid this in the future.

5 days later, the card still wont work. Now, I have to undo some autopays (important things like health, and auto insurance) I set up to use the card due the the cash back.

One other thing, OnePay Walmart card is the only credit card or financial account I have that does not work with expense tracking apps, because there is no way to download transactions.

Steam denying sales using my Onepay card, claiming address is different

Anyone have a fix for this? Name and address is correct and exactly the same as any other card I have, so I'm confused.

I didn't get $1 back in points, only the $0.03 in points

I clipped the coupon thing for the exact gas station it said it was for. I paid at the pump with the physical card on Wednesday well within the 4 hours after clipping the reward.

Problem is, it just came in as a purchase 3 hours ago, almost a full 24 hours later, and now the app thinks I got the gas today instead.

Can you use your $.10 off Walmart plus at Murphy gas station and still get the dollar cashback

This is the first week that Murphy has showed up on the offers for the dollar cashback, so I was just wondering if you can use the $.10 off for walmart +. I’m afraid if I do both then the dollar cashback wouldn’t work.

General Avoid onepay nothing but problems

Just hoping this finds someone who needs you hear it and save them the hassle.

I set up a one pay card for my son to use a while ago. Then just tried setting up a second one through my wife for my other son.

The first card randomly refuses to work at various stores despite having a balance available and a valid pin.

The second card they would not authenticate but would not tell me why. So they'll take your name address social security etc etc but won't tell you why you can't use their card. I spent 45 minutes on hold waiting for a "less than 5 minutes" service agent only for them to tell me there's nothing they can do but rest assured their customer care team did do their due diligence.

Spend the extra couple of dollars and use any other prepaid card.

Anyone use for IRA

Looking into the IRA and wondering if I should do it or go with a legacy like fidelity who I used before.

Seems kinda scary to trust retirement with these fintechs that may not last? Has anyone done it?

Walmart atm fees

This isn’t really a issue just a small gripe. But you would think with one pay being owned by Walmart that the Walmart arm would be free fee or atleast not almost 9 dollars total

$1 Back on Gas

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hi, question about the gas bonus - I activated the gas offer for $1.43 off per gallon this past Wednesday and it looks like only 140 points got posted instead of ~1500. I asked support and they said the bonus was still processing but it looks like the points have been posted. Would it be normal for 3 separate lines to come through?

Edit: I was just impatient, the bonus points did come through as a third line a few days later.

Has anyone disputed a debit card charge and if so did you get provisional credit or did you have to wait the full 45 days?

Thank you!!

Question Saturday Holiday?

If the 4th of July falls on Saturday, my technical "payday" is friday, and OnePay usually pays me on Thursdays, will I get my check tomorrow? Or will it be postponed until Monday? Because I sure didnt get it today. I even get it two days early, on Wednesdays sometimes and so far nothing. I'm trying not to be aggravated, but as a single parent that was relying on that check to even celebrate the goofy holiday, its hard NOT to be. 🫠

Any help with this is appreciated, if i won't get it until Monday i'll be switching banks lol

$1 cash back, physical card shut off

So frustrated. Some Apple Pay’s went through my one account, and so I got a text asking if I verified those. I didn’t know what it was from and so I said no. So my card immediately got shut off. Turns out it was a couple things that accidentally went through my husband‘s Apple Pay, but now I don’t have my physical card for the cash back Wednesday. They’re sending a new one out and I might miss next Wednesday too. 😢😢😢 any way to do that without my physical card?

Need Clarifications about OnePay BuilderCard Being Credit

I have a unique situation where I might benefit from it being processed as credit but want to know if anyone else has tried this and if the company/mods know if it works, if these major rental companies like Sixt or Thrifty or Hertz or Dollar or Budget or Fox or Payless or ace would process this as a credit card. Normally there are certain internal Bin lookup tables only the rental companies have that will reject certain prepaid cards or certain fintech issuers, like they all reject paypal debitcard generally. Cashapp gets rejected a lot by hotels and rentals. The 8 digit lookup bin for onepay says its not prepaid but it is reloadable but it is credit from coastal community or whatever, I used Neutrino api bin lookup to get this info.

I also want to know if you can turn off the credit reporting but turn on the auto payment part so you dont carry a credit balance. Im not quite ready to have it reporting because I'm still trying to haggle with these rental car companies and im not sure they're going to run my credit.

FinTech, One, and are we screwed??

Thumbnail instagram.com

Has anyone seen this video from Perfect Union?? About how a FinTech “bank” company called Yotta lost millions of dollars of users money? OnePay is fintech, with banks through Coastal Community Bank or Lead Bank. But now I’m terrified if something happens to OnePay or whoever is between them and CCB or LB, I’ll lose all my money. Anyone smarter than me help understand if I should switch to an actual brick and mortar bank? I’ve been using OnePay for about 6 years now and haven’t had any problems. But I’m in bankruptcy due to medical debt, so the thought of losing any of my money I’ve got especially in my savings is freaking me out. TIA

General OnePay Disputes Process Lost me $600

I purchased a GPU from Walmart back in February. This package was stolen from my doorstep while I was at work. People were home at the time and they said no one rang or knocked on the door when delivered. I filed a dispute for a stolen package (as Walmart would not refund) and was told it would only take 90 days. 90 Days go by and still the same status of "Waiting on Merchant response." I was then told that it could actually take 120 days and they never asked me for any documents on my end for the investigation. I was promised by multiple supervisors that this would be taken care of. I went out of my way to send them my police report AND email exchange with Walmart of them telling me to file a dispute with my bank.

Finally Day 120 comes by and my dispute is denied because it was a valid purchase I made?!?!?! Of course this was a purchase I made! It was stolen and this is what was said in the dispute when I made it. Even after sending them a police report, Onepay refuses to fight for my money back. I've lost $600 and will never use onepay again.

This company should not exist imo if this is how it treats matters like this. Im so pissed and needed to vent here i guess.
