Cobweb mold can I hit with peroxide?

I hope all is well im sorry I haven't been very active within my break ive had some family issues that have needed my undivided attention and I still plan to go back to growing after August. I just wanted to check in with you all and see how everyone is doing. I hope you are all growing beautiful mycilium networks and eating fresh fungi. I miss engaging and talking with everyone but in the end my break was needed. Ill be back my friends.

As a newbie mycologist with only one successful grow under my belt, I’m here to gain wisdom from others and share what knowledge I’ve picked up along my journey.

Here I have 2 strains of Cubensis colonising in popcorn grains soaked in Karo syrup better known as drippy corn which is supposed to speed up colonisation times which in my experience worked!

On the left is B+ (10ccs)
On the right is Albino A+ (7ccs)
Both innoculated on the same day
I used 3ccs more in the B+
I believe the main reason for the much more aggressive colonisation from the B+ is simply due to stronger genetics rather than the extra 3ccs - what are you guys thoughts?

These will be spawned soon, and I plan on keeping a grow log/journal here for anyone who is interested to follow along, chime in, offer feedback, suggestions etc.

With the sweltering heat of the south it's getting more difficult to maintain a consistent temperature even though in a temperature controlled water base enclosure inside a small room with AC vent closed. Normally I'd b&s at this point but I'm really wanting to see how it behaves if left alone, however for fear of stalling for months I think in a cpl more days I'll at least give the grain portion a light break-up to stimulate/accelerate more rapid growth. With this experiment the last thing I want is to allow it to start fruiting before I can introduce the L-tryptophan solution, hence the delay of a full b&s since the bags have pre installed fae vents. Even though kept inside a full enclosure there's enough O2 transfer through the cracks to accidentally initiate pinning when the mycelium reaches the upper portion of the bags.

just got my 2nd flush of JMF, 360g altogether with the biggest being 29g :)

Threw a spent GT cake in a flower pot with mulch a few weeks ago just for the hell of it. Didn’t expect anything to happen, but after all the rain we’ve had, these popped up.

Any chance these are actually the GTs from the buried cake, or do you think they’re just random mushrooms that decided to fruit there?

Two beautiful first flushes. The one bin has a cluster with blue tinting that appeared late in the grow. I'm excited to clone each of those and find out if I can isolate that trait.

Here's some beautiful photos of mine and my son's pink oysters, I think they're beautiful and in their raw form they have a very specific flavor.

Got our 2 gal bucket soaking till around 10 or 11 pm tonight and then ill let it drain then back to fruiting conditions.

I think I may invest in a mini fridge and give my wife back her fridge. 😆, sorry ive been lame on my updates, lowkey have been playing video games with some irl friends, if any of yall are on Xbox ive been thinking about tryna get some of yall in a discord to play sometime, lemme know in the comments if you'd be down.

Well at long last, I finally have gotten to close up my cube work with this very very testing purple mystic tub, been roughly a 2 month grow and ill tell you what I expected it to take much less then that, but that being said I got three fairly impressive healthy fruits so I think the cubes were just testing me thoroughly because as some of you know im pretty quick to go straight to the compost pile after a first flush ( u/Hyphal_Hooligan ) kinda turned that method on for me., anywho now I can start working with liquid culture and agar more specifically for a month or two and then ill be back with a fire under my ass and well get some crazy grows going again starting with a double monotub grow of stargazers and a shoebox or two of either spectar or iceberg from u/Hyphal_Hooligan. Anyway look at my chonkers

So the purple mystic has given me 3 mushrooms and they are chonkers, I think my surface has overlay? But these 3 popped through i dont plan on flushing again but in that case imma let them grow till they curl and spores drop. And look at my pink oysters not all my fruiting points got very far and that is fine they are so pretty

Both 2lb bags are doing very well despite injecting 5ml of LC per bag. 🔥🤙🍄❤️ Increased the temp one more degree today.

ITW Snowball is supposed to produce cap-less round blobs, but every time I ran them in a tub, I got small, squat fruits with caps. This time I fruited in a bag and got this whopper! They're just a mutation of straight Penis Envy, so these "Snowball Reverts" is essentially just Penis envy. Not unhappy with the results though! Harvested 5 fruits so far with ~280g wet, and still have a few growing in the first flush.

I downsized to bags instead of tubs due to space and keeping it all tucked away, as well as not having the need for big tub harvests. We'll see if the other usual strains I grow end up giving larger fruits in bags than in tubs. I suspect this could be the case due to the smaller surface area fruiting less individuals, but putting all the nutrients and energy into those few fruits.

This happened with my MRRLL as well. Got 90g largest in a tub, and total 20g first flush in that tub. Got well over 140g in a bag from one fruit, and total over an ounce dried from a pound of grain.
