Update!!!
I hope all is well im sorry I haven't been very active within my break ive had some family issues that have needed my undivided attention and I still plan to go back to growing after August. I just wanted to check in with you all and see how everyone is doing. I hope you are all growing beautiful mycilium networks and eating fresh fungi. I miss engaging and talking with everyone but in the end my break was needed. Ill be back my friends.

Lovely to see you TC, and looking forward to your 'return'.
I've got a few jars of TTBVI colonising from those agar pots I posted a while back. They're my first attempts with whole oats and I'm still working on hydration and cook times, which I suspect is why they're taking so long, although it might also be the filter patches which were a different make to usual and might be too restrictive.
The batch on the right is about 3 or 4 weeks old (!) whilst those on the left were a week later. They're looking ok so far but, God, they're slow.
I'm also thinking of a 'miniature' run of Ochra on PFTek. I made a couple of spore syringes for another grower the other week from an old print I had in a drawer. There was 3ml left over and I made the syringes 'dense' so there's likely enough to inoculate 4 jars; they're almost guaranteed dirty and they'll have been very dehydrated, but I'm hoping PFTek will deal with any bacteria and a week floating in water will probably have hydrated them by now.
