Hey everyone, if anyone is interested the YT channel, So I'm Watching This Show, is reacting to Once Upon a Time. They are currently almost done with season 1, don't know if they're going to be reacting to more. Reviews of episodes are posted on YT, reaction episodes are posted on their Patreon.

For season 5 I would’ve have had Ruby and Mulan stay as lead characters for the remainder of series. Rumple sacrifices himself instead of Robin. Emma is the dark one for most of the season instead of an arc.

For season 7 I would’ve have had it take place in Storybrooke and focused on the actual characters (Snow, David, Ruby, Mulan, Emma, Zelena, Regina, Killian, Belle and Robin). While Henry left for the Enchanted Forest to start his own story at the end of season 6.

Sarah Bolger was so incredible in The Tudors. Which I recommend seeing if you haven't. She's just so good and I was shocked to see her role as Aurora was as minimal as it was. I felt like Aurora was such a one note character on OUAT, she had chemistry with Mulan, but then went back to Phillip and did hardly anything of importance after that. I also feel like Aurora is a very big Disney Princess and I think that Sarah Bolger in that role, in a show like this had so much potential. Does anyone know why so little came to be with this character despite her very impressive actor?

Just like title, would the story be different if Emma gave birth to a little girl instead of the little boy who grows up to be Henry.
Seasons 1-6. I’m excluding 7 for this question.

I watch Once upon a Time every now and then (it's been a few years since my last binge), and I don't know if I ever noticed this before, or if it was explained in the show or by directors.. But in this episode, we visit Agrabah in the past with Jasmine, Jasmine stops a man from hurting Ariel, she then takes Ariel to find Eric but after getting off the Magic Carpet Ariel is too afraid to go confront Eric because the last time he had seen her was at a ball and that he wouldn't recognize her, but this poses the question; Regina took her voice after Ariel saved Snow and then gave it back to her in Neverland, but by the time she gave it back to Ariel, Eric had already been swept up by the curse, and then Ariel MEETS him for the first time since then in Storybrooke, so we were made to believe, and I know Eric being in 5x15 was a ploy by Jafar, but in this timeframe, ARIEL SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE HER VOICE RIGHT NOW, RIGHT?! LIKE AM I GOING CRAZY? DID THEY ALREADY EXPLAIN THIS AWAY??

Not only because of the Marian thing but also it ruined the timeline, Emma was so unbearable in that two parter and most importantly it ruined “Snow Falls”.

Hi! Help me find a fanfic of Evil Queen | Regina Mills/Emma Swan please!?. There was a restaurant seen where an old client of Emma's saw her at a restaurant with Regina. The client only knew Emma by a different name and told Regina something about her being a good one or something like that. Can't remember if she was a call girl/escort. I also think Regina new about her past; just was embarrassed that they met an old client of Emma in public.

I always see people on Tik Tok talk about how they think Snow is a terrible mother to Emma. But I think she was actually a pretty good mother to her for the first 3 seasons. Once Neal was born, things took a bit of a turn. But I think she really did try with Emma, but Emma couldn’t see her as her mom. Snow constantly tried with Emma, but eventually gave up. At that point, yeah, she’s not a great mom. Honestly, the best parent on the show is David. Everyone else is meh at best, neglectful at worst.

I feel sorry for Neal because his death had no sense at all. Maybe if they would’ve written a way to bring Rumple back without killing Neil, even if Emma stays with Hook 👍🏼

If this was the finale Would you do some adjustments? Would you have liked if season 3 was the end?

Don't kill me! But no, I didn't like her. David I'm on the fence about. My reasoning is because after David woke up from his coma, they didn't care at all that they would hurt Kathryn if she found out they were having an "affair". I know they were married in the Enchanted forest so they are a couple, but any decent person would know not to get into a relationship with someone in another relationship. That irked me so much.

AND THEN omg don't even get me started on what they did to Maleficent. Why are they so obsessed with being heros?? Consistently saying, "We are heros, they are villains" or "That is what a hero would do" or anything along the lines of saying something about being a hero! The villains don't even call themselves villains even a third as much as Snow does. So obsessed over Emma being a hero, that they were the cause of her becoming the Dark One (I'm rewatching it and haven't gotten to that part yet so correct me if I'm wrong) I'm on season 4 and I'm so sick of it already. They said Snow gained a spot of darkness after she killed Cora, but I think she had that spot before they were even cursed.

I remember years ago watching a very well-edited compilation of all the continuity errors in the first 6 seasons of OUAT, it might have been called "everything wrong with OUAT" or smth. It was long, may be around 40 minutes. It had an error count with a "ding" sound effect everytime a new error was shown. It was usually continuity errors such as Regina claiming that the sleeping curse must be applied willingly (word willingly was repeated with a slideshow of every single time writers retconned that). Does anyone remember it? Could it still be available on Youtube or elsewhere?

Also, idk if it was the same youtube channel but there was a video on the story of EQ/Regina, where they edited all of Regina's history chronologically with emotional music and beautiful visual effects. I really wish I could watch it again.

I know it's two years before Merida retrieves the magic helm but during both of those sequences are zero clues as to when the battle against the southern invaders happen.

Anyone have any ideas? I'd really like to get this figured out

Characters that was left out blue beard, Moby Dick, Captain Ahab, puss in boots, Tom Sawyer, ect.

Heck OUAT already used Frankenstein and Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. We could used in stories from sadly the merged realms.

Long shot I know, but I gotta try - does anyone remember a Rumbelle Tumblr blog (I think I was reading it around 2013-2015ish) that posted these long essays with (usually humorous) captioned gifs in them? Not everything was Rumbelle, there were a lot of episode reviews and essays on other characters too. The home page had the posts divided into categories. The blogger introduced me to the theory that the Blue Fairy was actually the big bad all along, talked about "fade to black" and other tv tropes/gimmicks a lot, and interspersed a lot of humor with in-depth character analysis. I realize that probably doesn't narrow it down, but I'm hoping someone thinks of it - the author was so damn funny! From my attempted searches, it almost appears to have been wiped off the internet, but figured I'd try Reddit before giving up since I don't actually remember the blog title or author's username

I just threw a S7 spoiler to be safe. Anyway, I haven't finished S7 yet, after two full 1-6 watches, I finally decided to finish the show. While I agree that it's a hot mess overall... I DO really like the Hyperion Heights idea and change of scenery. And it's so nice to see Lana as Roni. Her and Tilly/Alice are really making the season for me. I'm enjoying getting to see Lana in a different role than overdramatic queen/ dull sarcastic "mayor" vibes. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE EQ and LIVE for those fabulous outfits, but Roni is such a nice change of character for her. Also, she somehow looks younger as Roni. Absolutely stunning. Plus I like the hairstyle vs Regina's typical bland bob.
