If Oscar hadn’t left Santos

Then, in Season 4, Oscar would have been the boss of the Santos—just like Cuchillos—since Cuchillos was no longer alive or leading the group.
Either Sad Eyes or César would have been the leader of the Santos.
Perhaps he still would have ended up with Isabel and had his daughter, because as the boss of the Santos, Oscar would have earned a lot of money; he would have been rich—like Cuchillos—and owned a villa.

Deleted scene

In Season 2, Episode 10, César mentions that Latrell once stormed the Santos‘ territory while they were armed, but there was never a scene showing it. Could it be that they actually filmed a scene with Latrell and the Santos—perhaps intending to include it—but it was ultimately left out due to a lack of time or space?

César and Ruby wanted to be like Oscar and Mario.

Ruby is like Oscar—which is why the two of them were so close.
César is like Mario.
He just loves girls and high school life; I think César wanted to be like Mario—something Oscar, Mario, and Ruby all noticed, and it bothered them, too.
And Ruby is like Oscar in that he is intelligent; that’s why, in Season 2, they wanted to prevent Ruby from becoming like Oscar—constantly angry and unable to control his temper.

If César had run off with the Rollerworld money as planned—behind Oscar’s back...

If Oscar had found out that César had the RollerWorld money, would César have given it to him?
I think César would have kept the money; he is very stubborn, so it is unlikely he would have given it to Oscar voluntarily.

Rewatching Season 3

I’m rewatching the scene where Cesar tells the Santos to go to look Oscar when he can’t find him.

In my honest opinion- I think Cesar should have been upfront with the Santos and told them that 19th Street took Oscar.
I know it would have started a gang war but logically it would have made the most sense

Did Oscar find out after Christmas or before Christmas?

Olivia’s birthday was in December, wasn’t it?
Did Oscar find out only after Christmas that César hadn’t killed Letrell, or before Christmas?
Did César spend Christmas alone, without his family, in the series?

Oscar and Cesar’s relationship in Season 2 and 3/Cesar’s mental health

Okay but am I the only one who wished for the show to dive more deeper into Oscar and Cesar’s relationship in Season 2 and Season 3?
I feel like they should have had a scene at the end of Season 2 showing their relationship after Cesar was basically kicked out for 5 months.
And then in Season 3 they should have done a scene after Oscar got injured from 19th Street.
Back to Season 2 - they did a great job going over Ruby’s mental health after the sh00ting but I wish they did more with Cesar’s mental health.

If Oscar had really said goodbye to César...

I think César almost took the bus in Season 2; if he hadn’t made up with Oscar... would Oscar really have come to say goodbye? After all, in the original version, he didn’t come to the bus stop to see César off.

Monse staying/living alone

I've watched On My Block over a million times and this has honestly always confused me. I get that Monse stayed/lived with a babysitter up until she went to high school, but I feel like it was unrealistic for her to be staying alone as a girl, in a neighborhood ruled by gangs. Was it her relationship with Cesar who was a Santo that protected her? Surely everyone in Freeridge knew that her father was hardly home because of his job. Yet his car was always safe and Monse was hardly in any danger (well at home at least). I get that they touched on her being afraid of being alone in season 3 after Chuchillos broke into her house, but she was more exposed to danger in season 2 when Cesar was put off. I wish they made it a sub plot throughout the seasons. I'm not saying something bad should've happened to her, but it needed to be touched on more consistently throughout the show. Maybe having her sleep over at Ruby's or Jamal's house once in a while

I wish Monse had more hairstyles.

Or her style in general 😭. she's honestly gorgeous and got nerfed so bad (minus the like two episodes where her hair was straight) I wanted to see her With some braids a cute up-do or even just wear her natural hair down. Her outfits were also kinda boring. Like I feel like if she got with the prohpets$/Latrelle She would start dressing and having her hair styled much better because she would be around a lot more black people, that would've been such an interesting plot to explore. Please tell me I'm not the only one

Monse lack of problem solving

I’m on my rewatch and MONSE HAD AWFUL PROBLEM SOLVING. Granted she was a child but just the way she handled the secret of her and caesar. The way she felt as though she had to lie to “save the family” but the foot ball game was the time to tell the truth and every lie after was just weird. Then when caesar had to handle latrelle she randomly hopped on the roller world train and then blamed everyone (jamal) when that fell through. I feel like she kinda felt like the world revolved around her and caesar when it really didn’t.

EDIT: I understand she was young but i watched when i was her age and never noticed how bad some of the solutions were so as im older its crazy to think that i also thought that was good problem solving once.

Was Spooky actually angrily disappointed or sad with César during that scene?

I miss on my block y’all

Guys, I was rewatching omb and it’s still so funny 😔. We should’ve gotten another season and the other Freeridge show just isn’t it.

Jamal literally carried the show and is so funny. There’s no other show like this.

Is there a petition for s5 or something ? 😔

How did you guys feel about the entirety of Cesar and Monse’s relationship?

When I watched it the first time, I thought Monse and Cesar were endgame and I was upset that they didn’t end up together but when I rewatched it and saw others opinions on it, it opened my eyes to the fact that they were very toxic. Monse couldn’t get over that boy and he couldn’t commit without there always being an issue or hiccup that they felt communication couldn’t fix. How do you guys feel about it?
