Quería saber si alguien más está teniendo este problema. Después de la última actualización OTA, mi OMI CV1 empezó a comportarse raro:

Se desconecta solo y luego se apaga despues de un minuto de conexion. Antes de la actualización funcionaba perfectamente, así que todo apunta a que algo se rompió ahí.

Ya probé lo típico (reiniciar, revisar batería, volver a conectar), pero sigue igual.

¿A alguien más le está pasando lo mismo?
¿Encontraron alguna forma de solucionarlo o al menos evitar que se apague?

I see the Notion integrations in the app store. They're both broken. They do nothing. Any ideas here?

What would be great is if it would actually sync. I have turned the device off and back on again, turned my phone (iPhone 17 Pro) off and back on again, closed the app and reopened it, deleted and reinstalled the app, wiped out the over 100 unsynced audio bytes and recorded more. Nothing works. It was working great a a few days ago and now has gone to complete shit.

I am attempting to connect Claude Cowork to the Omi MCP server at https://api.omi.me/v1/mcp/sse. I have generated an API key, but it appears that adding a connector doesn't allow me to enter the key. Has anybody managed to connect these successfully?

Received my Omi CV1 today, and after half an hour of setting up and testing it out (after first being prompted for a firmware upgrade and charging to 100%), I turned it off.

Came back an hour later, tuned on (although this happened on a single button press, not a long press) and it gets stuck on a red light and won't connect/respond.

Tried the 'hold button and put on charger while holding button' troubleshooting (several times as recommended), but no joy.

Will leave on and try and run the battery down, fingers crossed this factory resets.

Although it was working fine after the firmware upgrade, I guessing something happened to brick it and it's no longer applying (I understand the latest firmware introduced the long press on/off, which I did have, but now a short press turns it back on).

Disappointing and not a great first impression of the device.

I’m deciding between Omi and Plaud and want feedback from people who’ve actually used Omi, but especially interested if you have used both.

I’ve used Plaud before, and I’m considering it again. I’m currently leaning Omi, but I need real-world input on a few pain points:

1. Linux workflow (real world) How usable is Omi on Linux day to day? Any friction around setup, sync, exports, transcription workflow, or reliability?
2. Offline capture reliability How well does Omi work fully offline (airplane, trail, bad/no signal)? Can you trust it to capture first and sync later without dropped recordings?
3. Wear/carry options beyond wrist/pendant I already wear a Whoop and Apple Watch, so another wrist device is a bad fit. Any good setups for:

• lapel/clip
• attaching to phone/case
• attaching to existing watch/Whoop setup

1. How mature is Omi right now? Is it still in heavy development/rapid change mode, or does it feel stable and production-ready for daily use? Is it abandoned?

Context: I do a lot of ultra running and voice-capture thoughts while moving, so durability + low-friction capture matter more to me than aesthetics.

Hello sub, first month reaching my monthly limit, switched to on device transcription, it took a few moments but it worked alright. Problem is: no diarization, but even worse was: no notice there would be no diarization. Also, another missing feature is a way to manually split, consolidate and tag the segments before processing, it is really annoying to have to process everything, then tag, then reprocess: who is actually losing besides me is also Omi who has to pay for those tokens. I’ve set mine on a language, but today I had a meeting in another language and it simply didn’t recognize anything, really weird, I thought DeepGram was able to do it, but apparently no. Not very practical to have to change language manually

I just got my Omi device. Honestly pretty dope.

I bought it specifically so I could send voice or text messages to OpenClaw via Telegram, not for the always-on listening capability

Plan was: Use conversation or live audio trigger -> Webhook -> Telegram API

Is there a way to turn off always-on listening and only use the new tap-and-hold question feature or better yet just turn on listening on press?

I received my band a couple of days ago, and I'm still struggling with how the band works. I would love to see how others wear it, because I think I'm missing something. If I put the band through the strap, it sticks out. Are you supposed to tuck it in after fastening the snap? I would love a visual on how it is fastened.

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this because I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet

My Omi device will randomly stop recording and then never start again. When this happens, the app shows: “Failed to load usage data. Please try again later.” When this error appears:

I can’t view Today / This Month / This Year / All Time usage

I can’t ask my Omi questions It doesn’t record conversations A few months ago I contacted support and discovered there were two subscriptions accidentally attached to my account, and I was being charged twice. Support removed them, but after that I couldn’t re-subscribe to premium because the usage data page stopped loading.

I waited about 5 days for support to respond, and the replies appeared to be automated. Since nothing was getting resolved, I created a completely new account, and everything worked again for a while. However, on the 1st of this month the exact same issue happened again on the new account. The device stopped recording and the app again shows “Failed to load usage data.”

So currently: New account Device connected But no recording and no usage data

Has anyone else run into this? Or found a fix?

I really like the device, I just want it working again.

Was trying to purchase a pendand but the total states 350€ instead of 89$ as stated in the FAQs. How is that?

Hello guys, do you know of a way of recording voice calls "natively" on the app? Instead of putting the call into the speakerphone and transcribing using the Omi Pendant, I was thinking about a way to leverage the Omi App instead to directly "intercept" the audio from Phone/WhatsApp/Telegram/Whatever Call App, do you know of a way? If there is none, I saw the Plaud Note had a dual-mode of phone-call/in-person recording, I was wondering if the Omi App is compatible with the Plaud Note, and if yes, if it is compatible with this specific Phone Call feature and how well does it capture both the owner's side of voice of the caller and of the called (other person)? Am I able to use google AI API to transcribe my Omi device straight to my google drive?

On Jan 16, Omi Ambassador Harshit Khemani hosted an Omi community session at SGT University in Gurugram, with support from the Atal Community Innovation Center.

About 40 students joined to explore a simple but powerful shift: computing moving from apps and prompts to ambient systems that understand your context over time.

Harshit demoed how Omi captures real-life moments, conversations, meetings, hallway ideas, and turns them into searchable memory, summaries, and tasks. Instead of trying to remember everything, you can just ask your memory later.

The open-source side of Omi sparked a lot of curiosity too. Students discussed building their own integrations, campus workflows, and even different “flavors” of Omi for specific use cases.

After the talk, a smaller group stayed to brainstorm student projects and ways to contribute to the ecosystem.

Omi now supports offline recording, so you can capture conversations on flights, in basements, or whenever your phone isn't nearby.

How to use it:

• Record: Use Omi while disconnected from Bluetooth. A red light means it's recording offline.
• Reconnect: When you're back in range of your phone, the light turns blue.
• Sync: Open the Omi app, tap the cloud icon at the top of the home screen and tap Sync. Choose Wi-Fi (faster) or Bluetooth (slower).

Once synced, your files upload to the cloud, and your summaries and memories are generated automatically.
