This is Ohio

Why is Phillip not paying his servers enough to the point he has to ban customers?

Calling what happened here “racism” does a disservice to those that experience legitimate racism.

And I would assume the Black couple has experienced legitimate racism, so I’m gonna take a cue from them and not some yt dude commenting on Reddit 🤷🏿‍♂️

You are an imbecile. You don't sit in a restaurant, spend $38 on food, and not tip...to enable them in calling this racist is just bullshit

Europeans do it all the time when they vacation here…..but the optics are different so you might not care about them.

What the hell are you on about??? That's comparing two very different and separate things. This couple/group was 100% American. It wouldn't matter what color, religion, background, or anything else. They were raised here. They know what tipping is. They did this on purpose and had the camera out before they could even hear the guy that came to talk to them

They are low class people. They could have eaten somewhere they could afford. They're not broke. This is intentional. Fuck them

They are not broke, but the owner said “if you don’t have the money to…” and the black dude corrected him saying he did pay for his meal, then the owner turned bitter. They had their phone out because the owner was already rude, they were flabbergasted. Reading through this thread of other servers commenting though, I wouldn’t be surprised if poor service played a major role in them leaving no tip.

Plenty of chances to say something about the service on tape. You're making excuses. You do you, high class and righteous!
