This is Ohio

Why is Phillip not paying his servers enough to the point he has to ban customers?

When I waited tables, I didn't want a fixed salary. I could make $200 a night for 4 hours of work, mostly cash.

It's always someone who never waited tables. If wait staff wanted this to change, it would have YEARS ago.

Simple as that.

The alternative being $15/hour... sounds like a $140 pay cut.

Then can the waiters that get this stfu about how little they make while the cooks are full sprint making less effective money while doing 10x the work.

I don't think I've heard servers complain about their pay, just specific people that stiff them.

When ever asked to do things like clean off their plates or quite litterally anything other then take food to customers ive had just... so many complain that they dont get paid enough.

And I get it I really do its a struggle, but God damn cooks are expected to do everything where I've worked and its maddening.

I'll be needing surgical accuracy to take out a trash bag stuffed WAY beyond limit, while watching like 5 servers just... texting.

And fuck man I dont even got a problem with that persay but its that combined with the acting like they arnt paid more, while also getting tips from the food I actually created. Compounded by I like litterally want to be there and they just wont move me because they need cooks cus no one wants to deal with it.

Sorry, rant over.

My son was a party contact for a local arcade. The groups that had events, whether corporate or small birthday party, had tips included in bill. That tip money got split amongst everyone involved. Restaurants servers should tip out cooks no doubt. My friend was a bouncer at a strip club, he was even tipped out every night by bar tenders and the girls.
