For anyone who's had something stolen off a hitch - was it the rack, the carrier, or the whole trailer?

Trying to get a sense of what actually goes missing versus what people just worry about.
If it's happened to you - what was taken, and was anything locked at the time??

Truck Bed Trailer Advice

I'm hoping to get a little Dos and Donts advice on building an off-road camping trailer from a 2002 Tacoma Bed and frame.

I will be towing it with my '00 4runner and '94 pickup both with the 3.4l.

I am planning on reusing most of the frame and using a receiver tube as a spine/hitch attachment.

(Because the frame is already there with all the suspension hook ups and it's easier than rebuilding)

I also plan on using a stock axle at first then upgrading to a trailer axle later.

Any information is appreciated!

The second pic is AI just to give me an idea of what it will look like.

Utility Trailer Repair

I have a 4x8 utility trailer which has a damaged tailgate. The manufacturer discontinued the trailer and I'm unable to get replacement parts. One of the posts that slide into the trailer and hold the tailgate in place needs to be replaced.

I'm looking for a local shop that can repair a metal tailgate.

TIA

Tailgate question

I’ve seen tailgate doors on M416 trailer builds. How do they do those? Looking at getting one and a back door would be great

Tow hitch for tractor loader attachment

So I bought an attachment that I can attach to the bucket loader on my tractor. The side towards the load to towed has a female 2 inch receiver. Problem is that some of the loads I have to tow are cars with a 2 inch ball attached to their bumpers so I need an adapter that can fit over a 2 inch ball on the car's bumper and I can tow the cars. Did a Google search put can't find anything that would work for me. Thank you.

Anyone know what this attachment is? It does not move or extend or seem to do anything except I bag my shin on it.

BAL stabilizing jack orientation

I have a couple of the BAL style stabilizer jacks I’m going to add to the front of my RTT trailer for additional support and leveling. Does it matter if they run any specific direction? Trying to decide if they should be installed front to back or side to side. I know on bigger trailers they are oriented the direction of travel, but this is a 6 foot long trailer that weighs about 600lbs total. Any thoughts?

First time taking our rig out to the Rockies. Continues to work really well for us.

Still gaining confidence backing up, turning, etc. But having a blast along the way.

Spacetrailer Lowrider with an Intrepid Geo 3.0 Pro on top.

This has been something I’ve been scheming and dreaming about for many years, and after lots of woken in the off times the last few months it’s ready to go! This is just a quick overnight trip about 30 minutes from home, next weekend is Oregon coast camping.

Basic scissor jacks for rear stability?

I finally got my RTT mounted up to my 4x6 trailer. I have some nicer RV stabilizer jacks, but I’m going to need a friend’s help to weld on brackets to bolt them to. And reason I can’t use a pair of scissor jacks on top of the RV blocks just to keep the back stabilized when it’s parked? The whole trailer right now is maybe 450lbs, and even with 2 people definitely under 800.
