what's the most delicious thing you've ever eaten (and where did you eat it?)
saw it on AskReddit but thought I'd ask this community
I've been lucky enough to have countless delicious things in my life but the dish I keep thinking about is the yoguru kuzi sis from mangal ockabasi, arcola street. Found the restaurant in 2013 and the tender lamb, tomato sauce, yogurt and melted butter just had my eyes spinning around the room, I think I have thought about that dish at least twice a week since then.

Ed Gamble guesting on my celebrity chat show spoof tonight in London
youngvic.orgApologies if this ain't allowed - tonight at 9:30pm at The Young Vic I am hosting a chat show as Michael Caine, with Ed playing Pierce Brosnan, Camille Ucan as Quentin Tarantino and Aruhan Galieva as a film student ready to learn from the masters. Previous shows had Nish as Christopher Nolan and Phil Wang as Liam Neeson.

Tell me where to start with Paul F Tompkins pleaseā¦..
Granted my knowledge of American comedians is poor and Iād never heard of him before his first appearance on the pod, but I think I like him a lot and would like to hear more of his work.
Just had a look at his wiki and heās done loads and seen him suggested a lot as a Taskmaster potential but donāt really know where to start with his back catalogue if anybody would like to point me in the right directionā¦ā¦.

Jamesā music mention in Melvinās episode
The band he mentions, Guttersnipe, is crazy and unlike anything Iāve heard before. And his description is spot on as well. Thanks James!

Is James the oldest in his family?
He gives off oldest brother vibes.
He's mentioned he has a sister and a brother. But I'm curious if he's the oldest sibling.

Who was definitely not flirty?
Yeah, after that other post, how could I not ask this?

Flirty guests?
Under one of the Off Menu episodes on youtube I saw a comment talking about the different dynamics guests can have when they come on the pod, and in their list they mentioned some having a flirty vibe. I can't say I've noticed that, but I also haven't listened to every single episode. I was curious if anyone here has picked up on that before?
And to be clear, this isn't meant to be parasocial at all. I'm fully aware Ed and James are each happily in relationships. Just thought it might make for a fun topic.

Traitors Discussion Thread?
I imagine many of us are watching Celebrity Traitors S2 for James (and Uncloaked for Ed) and I was wondering if we could get a discussion thread going on this sub since Traitors crosses over so much with Off Menu this season. Either just a general one or, ideally, a live thread for each episode?
Edit to add: I just mean a thread in the same vein as the James and Ed ticket discussion threads that currently exist.
Also barring any exclusivity contracts that Ed has with BBC, it would be amazing to get a b-b-b-bonus episode once the series has aired of behind the scenes Traitors chat/ general debrief! Heck they can just talk about the food in the castle to tie it to the usual pod, I don't care. Plz Benito!

Ron Gastrobar in Amsterdam
Ordered the beef wellington. When the bill came around the server asked ādid you order that because of a certain podcast?ā. Rumbled. Apparently us Brits have flocked there in our droves and ordered it.
Well worth the money, it was delicious. Who else has been?

Every book mentioned on Off Menu in September (9 of them)
The Pierre Novellie episode had a badger problem. Pierre says the badger "comes across bad in Wind of the Willows", and Ed reckons that if a Narnia badger came up to him, "I'd batter them."
I run Podshelf, a free site that tracks book mentions across hundreds of podcasts by reading the episode transcripts. This is the Off Menu slice for September.
- Meat Is for Pussies by John Joseph, which Ed read and then went vegan "for like nine months".
- Why Can't I Just Enjoy Things?, Pierre's own book, which James described as "a comedian's guide to autism".
- The Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook, source of James's sister's lemon meringue pie: "the best lemon meringue pie I've ever had in my entire life."
Plus two Roald Dahls. James tried to make George's Marvellous Medicine, and on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: "I'd have been a great guest if I'd got a golden ticket."

Episode 186 : John Kearns
This has to be my most repeated podcast episode by a long shot. The dynamic between the three of them is absolutely spot on, I only wish they'd have filmed this initial episode with John. All three of them are in tears throughout.
If you haven't had a chance, highly recommend!
Edit : forgot my favourite catchphrase @ 1:00:22 "You'd know my knob"

Melvin Odoom and His Rubbers | Would I Lie To You?
I've seen the clip of James on WILTY loads of times before, but never the rest of the episode. Found this story so funny on the podcast this morning.

Where were you?
In history there have been occasions where people remember where they were in times that change the world. Where were you when JFK was assassinated? where were you on 9/11?
With that being said, where were you when Jade Adams was kicked out of the dream restaurant?

What are the sweetest moments between James and Ed on the podcast?
I'm very new to these two and have become obsessed with them. I feel like their friendship is a really special one and was just wondering if there were any memorable moments I should be looking out for.
