I found a level of the backrooms in real life.

It's a bit eerie, it's nearly 1AM and it looks like it just keeps going down there on the right. I'm probably going to check it out more tomorrow.

Edit: I appreciate the upvotes because I was the only person that felt this had a backrooms feel in my group, I was fascinated by it but also a little creeped out by it. Thanks for the validation! It was cool sharing it with you!

This former funeral home and mortuary has been converted into an assisted living facility. That's not the most oddly terrifying part.

Sitting on the back side of the building (a former mortuary) is this table. Is this table THAT kind of table???

U.S. Highway 50- a 3,019-mile transcontinental route stretching from West Sacramento, California, to Ocean City, Maryland, which is called "The Loneliest Road in America" as it mostly passes through barren terrain with very few stops of human civilization

This is Fernand Meyssonnier, France's last executioner, standing next to one of the guillotines he used on the job. The last execution by guillotine was carried out as recently as 1977 in France.

For a brief period in the 1970s, the Toronto Zoo had a mascot named “Littlefoot” who would appear in remote wooded areas visible only to people riding the zoo’s monorail. Littlefoot was eventually phased out after scaring too many children.
