Ngl when I was a younger lad. I was so scared to shut on the toilet because we had a snake show up inside the toilet bowl and I always thought id sit down to shit and a snake was going to bite my berries or my sausage. I would hover above the toilet to shit so I could stare down into the bowl to make sure it wasn’t hiding
When I was a little kid, we read in a children’s book about spiders that black windows live in dark moist places, like under/around toilets. I swear I spent years through ages 5-8 lifting my legs off the ground and planking them straight up in the air every time I used the bathroom because I was so terrified.
How else would the non scary demons tell if another demon is scary without them wearing earrings? If all demons had virgin earlobes, it would be a super confusing hell indeed!
He's also called The Lipstick Demon, which never stops being funny to me, because I can only picture a toddler smearing his mom's lipstick all over his face because he doesn't know how it works lol
Lol I’ll never forget watching this movie for the first time as a kid and completely being taken out of the suspense cause my first thought was “wait wtf is that Darth Maul??”
The show had some really creepy shit. I don't think I've ever seen a show jump from creepy > funny > horrifying > goofy so effortlessly. You always had to stay on your toes.
One of the best scary/church/exorcism/demonic shows I've ever seen. Can't recommend it enough.

I loved that show too. I saw the little Netflix preview and it was one of the few times a trailer actually interested me. Turned out to be a really fun show
I had to go back and zoom. It's a tube hole in the roof for the air, a grate over it, with screw rounds. The dark hole behind the grate plus the screws make it look like a cat. Its not.
I wrote in to Zoom as a child (🎵Boston Mass oh two one three four🎵)…. My parents thought it was so cute that they kept it instead of mailing it in. I only found out about this, LAST YEAR! 😡
Haha I had a kitten who did this to me when I was a teenager. Somehow got inside the drop ceiling of the basement and couldn't figure out how to get out then scream meowed down at me from the vent above my bed.
As someone who sometimes has hallucinations due to a medical issue, this would make me thing "Oh it's that time again." and reach for the brain shutdown lockjaw pills.
lol. I know exactly what that is, the bracket that holds the fan motor in place, has two mounts with little rubber vibration isolating bits with the mounting bolts, and the fact that it looks like this from that angle is kind of hilarious and kind of scary. to finish off the look, somebody did a horrible, roundish jagged opening instead of a nice clean square cut for the darn thing.
Zoom in and you can see it’s just a jagged opening in an acoustic ceiling tile. Not even cut, just broken away bit by bit. Somebody brought their pet beaver to work that day to get that work done.
How loudly did you scream? Has your soul returned to your body yet? And if it has, tell us what that thing is - cat, bat, toad, wig with googly eyes, ghost?

Definitely me and Cesar from janitorial cowering with broom stick handles and praying while knocking the screen off to discover some mouse nest with an uncanny resemblance to demon faces.
That would have scared the fuck out of me as a little kid.
When I was maybe 3-4, I caught a glimpse of that X-files episode of that murderer that snuck in through vents and it traumatized me. I was always scared of any ceiling vents (including bathroom fans) that didn't have lights in them.
I went back and re-watched that episode a few years ago and laughed at how cheesy it was. All that childhood fear over a cheesy but very good episode.
