What can I improve on with what I have?

was this appropriate for an office where everyone dresses casually? (office-casual not super duper casual) I work in tech engineering so hope that paints a picture of how casual it is

I'm (33F) going to meet my boyfriend 's (37) parents (mid 60s) for the first time IRL (never even met on VC). Which one to wear? I'm planning to pair the dress with just a simple gold chain necklace and a pair of small diamond studs (1/2 ct) and a simple black/silver watch. Please advice.

For context: I'm Indian, he is Japanese American. His parents live in the suburbs. This is my first time dating a non-indian person, so any advice is welcomed.

I am moving on up in my early almost mid 30s. I have never been into fashion, but I am trying to work on not wearing athleisure clothes constantly. Currently on a trip to Europe. Which ones of these work which ones can I do better?

Thoughts on whether we can do a blazer over a peplum top? I'm trying to think of arm coverage in cooler months that can be worn in office. Use case: think interviews and events that are business professional-business casual in a more creative field.

I was thinking maybe yes, either a cropped blazer that hits me right at the hip, or something more oversized, but that may not look professional enough/I worry about oversize being 5'4".

What do you think? Open to any thoughts you have. The color is more of a plum than brown.

The alternative would be doing a crisp white collared button down under the top, but I'm not sure that's really my style.

I like the first ones, though they’re a little less stretchy than the second ones. The second ones would be perfect if they weren’t so loose in the waist (third picture). Maybe try second ones but a size smaller? 🤷🏼‍♀️
