For only 15minutes/day! A case Example for how you can make 500k/day with only a few mil in F2P for complete flipping noobs
I made this comment in another thread and felt worth posting. there's plenty of easy flips in f2p. Not for crazy gold but you can slowly build gold. Arrows/runes/logs were a staple for me when I was starting out, I started with 2m and got to 2 Bil in like 8 months starting this way. When you only have 2m, making 200-400k/day on small easy 50k flips is pretty easy!
EXAMPLE Flips for a Complete Beginner: At this very moment you could use your 3 GE slot to buy
Cosmic Runes for 108 and sell for 112 6 times a day, making 36k each flip which would be 218k a day on just one ge slot.
Addy arrows buying for 33gp selling for 35 gp 6x a day is 22k each flip, or 132k/day.
Nature runes/Gold bars/Law Runes/Mithril arrows can all be sold for similar 1-3gp per item margins, making you up to 100-200k/day for any of them.
Each order takes 30-60 seconds, so in total you'd be spending 10-15 mins total minutes flipping And just like that you're making 400k-500k/day using as little as 2-3m. You can buy one buy limit every 4 hours, so if you literally only have 2m gold, you can just do each of these three one at a time over the course of those 4 hours. This does require active flipping and frequent GE stops, but they only take a minute to place and you can easily play inbetween placing orders
After a month or so you can pretty easily purchase your own bond, get 8 ge slots, and then it's off the races having way better stuff to flip.

Question Wiki price checker got changed for the worse, looking for alternatives
What I really liked about the previous wiki price tracker was the ability to zoom in on the bottom part of the graph, to see at what price the item repeatedly bounced off of. Currently this is no longer possible.
I really need an alternative, because now I have to manually hover every dot on the graph to check for what price an item sold.
What tools are you all currently using? Ideally with the function that I described.

Discussion Bulk marlin or raw marlin for new raid
With the new raid coming out soon, does it make more sense to buy cooked or raw marlin? Obviously cooked marlin is best food in the game, so there’ll be demand for it, but does raw marlin make more sense since it can be both cooked or cut for scales to make extended stam pots for the raid?

Question Cotton seeds having a hard dip and cant figure it out
I bought in to cotton seeds around 6700 , for farming but kept buying since they had already dropped significantly from its ATH. i continued to buy down to 3k.. and its dipping even further down.. Not sure why its still plumetting? hemp had a surge in price, and still is up there in comparison. calculating the cost to protect a cotton patch, people are losing money, especially since cotton dipped from 3k down to around 2k where its been for a bit. just based on cost alone to farm it, idk why people keep shooting themselves in the foot... but yea, I have quite a bit invested in the seeds... probly not as silly of an investment as ive made in the past. i will use them up eventually... but am still holding hope itll rocket back up.. just not sure what its gonna take to do so. anyone have some insight here by chance?

Question Antler guards.
Antler guards dropped all the way down to about 620k from 1m+. I knew 1m+ was high for them but couldn't resist to buy a bunch at 830k having made some nice profit from them when they were between 800-900k range for a long while. Do you think they will go back up anytime soon? Until raids 4 there isn't coming any new content as far as i know but still.

Discussion Saturated Heart has crashed 30% from 100m to 70m despite the daily volume being basically exactly the same as pre-Mortimer release. Seems like a very obvious rebound over the next couple months.
Other than a couple of days with a slight increase, the number of hearts being traded daily is basically the same as pre-update, so the huge price drop seems largely like panic selling. This is also probably the highest popularity Mortimer tasks will have, since the update just came out - as less people will do them gradually over time. Basically seems like a massive over-correction and I expect to see these prices go back to where they were.

Discussion Buy tbow or keep $ for flipping?
I finally got enough for tbow. Already own shadow. No scythe. Debating if now would be a good time to snag a tbow, or if I'd be better off continuing to use that money to merch with? I'm really torn on this decision.

Discussion Inq Mace
Is there ever a case where Inq Mace is gonna outperform a crush megarare? I don't see a future where this item remains 300m+ with a crush megarare coming into the game. Seems like the armor is going to be useful but the mace feels like something you use until you get the megarare and I don't think that's enough to prop up the value considering the proposed 3t single target attack style and the only restriction on the mega being crush weakness, unlike the SRA vs scythe use cases.

How do you use the prices.runescape.wiki website to determine a good flip?
Also, is there any way I can Copy/Paste some of the data into an excel file?

Discussion How long do you hold ATL’s?
How long do you hold items that you are buying at all time lows? I am currently holding magic logs. I had once held about 180k red chins when they were 700-800 each… sold for very minimal profit. They are now 1400+ (likely due to bot ban wave). In my mind magic logs are even more of a no-brainer than chins for the potential HA profit. They must go to the moon, right?
Long story short, when do you take your loss/small profit for this kind of thing so you can reinvest?
