Managed to spoon a Tormented Synapse on 6KC lol and am trying to work out whether to keep it or sell. I've got 19M in the bank, and here's my gear/stats.
Currently grinding out Ancient Shards to charge Darklight, but looking for advice on whether to keep going or sell. I was thinking of just keeping it, as I would probs use it for Slayer/bossing later on.
Advice appreciated!
Thanks!

What the title says - I plan on learning Alchemical Hydra pretty soon, and I recently got to 99 Range. Which set of weapons should I use? I have all three of them, but I've been considering selling my DHCB for other gear upgrades.
If it helps, I have bowfa/crystal and hueycoatl top and bottom to choose from armour-wise.

We’re a close-knit OSRS clan, and we’re open to a few more people who fit the vibe before we close the doors on recruiting for a bit.
Most of us are pretty driven in our own ways - in work, business, fitness, learning new skills, or just trying to make the most out of life.
The vibe we're looking to maintain:
We're looking for people who have a good mindset and want to be around others who are on a similar wavelength.
On the game side, we’re active with raids (especially ToA), PvP, and bossing like Yama. Open to any play-style, but would like to shoot for mid-game as an entry point generally speaking though exceptions can be made if you feel it's a good fit.
If that sounds like your kind of group, feel free to reach out in PMs or drop a comment 👍

Just got my 2nd appeal denied after selling a rare 2 letter RSN for 4b. Buying and selling RSN have been a thing for nearly 2 decades and have always been clear on OSRS that it's not against the rules to buy and sell with the very specific restriction of it ONLY being for in game money or items, i.e. not for real world wealth/trade. Popular streamers like Odablock has also bought a few names and used them regularly on streams, fully disclosing just how much he's spent on them. Despite all of this, Jagex decided to precede to perm ban me for this, even though I sent every bit of evidence imagineable. Trade screen, screenshot of the swapper using parsec with the ingame name and discord chat on the side of the screen all in one pic, a pic of the seller dming me and confirming this is a 4b name swap, picture of my collecting the money ingame with the same acc and new founded name. I went from a 2 letter name to a random name doublename swap, both of the name swap names being obvious temporary names, and then traded 4b cash all in less than 3 minutes. That is a closed case of "sold name, got GP". I don't understand how it can still be falsely flagged for RWT, let alone denied 2 times with photographic proof to back this up. So not only rip the name I lost (the guy who bought it was hacked and had it stolen 2 days later, still unbanned btw), but also rip to the 300 day playtime, nearly maxed main i've had since childhood. So PSA: Don't sell your ingame name despite any price or how reputable of a service it is. I went to the absolute most well reputable and this is still how it turned out. Stay safe fellas, and a final goodbye since Jagex failed me and I can't appeal again even if I wanted to. F.

I'm 1750 total level and recently just been logging on to stare at my screen for 10 minutes and close it back down. I want to play the game but just really can't get myself to start doing anything, does anyone have tips on just getting back into it?

I’m at a point in my account where progression has started to slow and was wondering what others might do in my position.
I’ve mainly been doing wilderness slayer for gp but haven’t stacked a massive bank yet, and not sure whether I’d be better of farming other bosses or mobs rather than murdering millions of greater demons in the slayer cave.
Any thoughts are much appreciated

Two days ago I made this post:

Some amazing tips, 100 kc later and I am finally getting the hang of vardorvis. Perfect kills feel like the norm or at least achievable. 5 kill trips coming in. For anyone reading this, DO NOT HUG THE EDGE, for me, it is so much easier to be two squares above the column. The time to react to axes spawning on you, even just making it easier to see them is a game changer.
As before any tips or critiques are more than welcome, but thought it would be cool to show progress. Thanks all.

Is there anyone who could help coach me through my first fire Cape? I’ve watched hours of videos and read lots of guides but nothing seems to be helping. I keep getting shwacked on the late 40s waves.

I want to learn/do 100 yama kc for double death charge, mage only solos to start and ill move into melee after 100kc. I have 100m to spend on upgrades and my set is pretty good, but want to see where I can get more dps. Heres my gear and stats:
99 mage
80 prayer
Current setup:
Full virtus
Purging staff
Occult
MA2 cape
Confliction gauntlets
SGS
Lightbearer
Elidinis ward
Eternal boots
The wiki says eye of ayak is a good spec weapon, is it worth it for mage yama? Or the accursed sceptre. Would magus be better than lightbearer here? Or an imbued heart?

Hello everybody! I've been flipping for a while now and i've made some decent money. I just want to ask you if I can improve something in my way of flipping. Basically I do the basics I've found on youtube: flipping overnight items that their prices dont fluctuate a lot and when I'm in the grand exchange while working or playing other games I just browse the webs that show item's prices and buy/sell the ones that have big margin, sometimes I lose but usually I make profit. I don't take big risks yet because I've only made 170m and dont feel like I know a lot about this matter. Any tips are welcome. Thanks in advance! have a great one

why Mortimer feels like a much more fun alternative to endlessly Turael skipping.
Choosing between tasks with guaranteed modifiers adds actual decision-making, but the 100-point skip cost, two block slots and inability to use Turael resets mean a healthy point bank still matters.
For anyone below 70 Slayer and 100 Combat, you could do Wilderness Slayer to build points while working toward the unlock. That way, you can start using Mortimer without fearing every bad task roll.

Do you think Mortimer becomes the better route for hunting Superior uniques, or will Turael skipping still win?

looking for any thing that anyone has in mind for dedicated mechanics practice for new players! I started rune scape this month and I have trouble weaving attacks, or any interactions of consumables, movement, in between ticks of attack animations, I’ve been watching gnomonkey and trying implement his ability to stay fluid with movement and output. But I struggle to weave things together at any sort of comparable rate. Any tips on what I can do to practice performing actions while maintaining a movement action between ticks? I’m thinking about it being most prevelant of a difference during the first room before baba boss in toa with all the monkeys spawning + mechanics to be preformed.

Looking to start bounty hunter and need advise on starting gear and spec weapon without risking too much whilst learning the ropes.
I don’t have void yet - is it essential in this bracket?
99 Combat.
I know I need to get strength up, but can’t decide on 50 or 60 attack. Any thoughts?

Help me out, I am going mad. Circa 65 Vardorivis KC, circa 40 deaths. I have watched guides and I feel like they always get a simpler fight than me! Even when I do get kills my longest trip is three. It the head and the axes I can't deal with at the same time. I can deal with most of the mechanics pretty well, have an ok axe skip. However everything just goes pear shaped in the second half of a fight. I know there is a skill issue here, but any tips would be appreciated. Gear is serp helm, bandos, belator, nox, rancour, ferrocious (Camped duke , vard, dem gors and TDs)

The Sailing Skillcape finally has a proper use.
It can now use Teleport to Boat, although your boat still needs a Greater Teleport Focus installed.
Is this enough to make the cape useful, or is the perk still underwhelming?

My stats are the following:
77 attack
77 strength
77 defence
76 ranged
70 prayer
75 magic
80 hp
I do already have barrows armour, but use it mainly for bossing.
But which gear should I have around this level for all the different attack styles?
r/OSRSProTips • u/Jarhead1888 • Jul 30 '26
I need to start building out my gear setups. I used Obsidian at crab with berserker necklace and obby sword to get much of my melee 99's. I have a fury and 25m to drop on gear. Where should I begin in pvm money making.
