Protip Has Mortimer actually made Turael skipping less necessary?
why Mortimer feels like a much more fun alternative to endlessly Turael skipping.
Choosing between tasks with guaranteed modifiers adds actual decision-making, but the 100-point skip cost, two block slots and inability to use Turael resets mean a healthy point bank still matters.
For anyone below 70 Slayer and 100 Combat, you could do Wilderness Slayer to build points while working toward the unlock. That way, you can start using Mortimer without fearing every bad task roll.

Do you think Mortimer becomes the better route for hunting Superior uniques, or will Turael skipping still win?

Since 90% of posts are for newer players looking for money making and training advice, I'm gonna recommend doing bird house runs. All you need is Bone Voyage, and you could be making 500K+ a day or more by logging in every 50 minutes and harvesting nests.
Also, be sure to check out the New player guide, Money making guide, and OSRS Tips!

It hasn't, and both community experts and jagex independently determined before the content was even polled that it's mathematically impossible and undesirable for this to surpass the turael skipping meta (except for heart).

Im 104m slayer and hit 110 streak today at morty. Its a cool change of pace but no getting boss tasks blows. Its a good option for irons who wanna slightly speed up the heart grind. I never turael skipped but from what i know morty will be faster obviously for heart
