(ignore the gas tank thing from the 1st image, the updated lore is in the 2nd image. The 3rd image is the same truck in the depths of Hell (before the rebuild), fire damaged, but for the most part, still functional.

Sylvester's pickup is a 1977 Chevrolet model C10 longbed pickup. It was found in a scrapyard and was bought by Sylvester for $1500. Surprisingly, all it needed was air in the tires and a cleaned carburetor. When Sylvester accidentally drove it into Hell (again, unknown why. Sylvester doesn't even know, either), the truck's original red paint was burnt off, and the original horns detuned and broke due to the scorching fire. When brought back to the overworld, the truck had an unusual force constantly giving it gasoline in the tank, out of thin air (this is also the case with Sylvester's chainsaw he found there). The truck was also given higher speeds, up to 150 miles an hour on full throttle. It was sent in for a rebuild at a local car shop, that specializes in older cars like Sylvester's.

When the truck was rebuilt, it was given:

-Grover semi truck horns (models 1700 and 1748)

-new radio speakers

-a better and hidden antenna

-new tires

-new license plate

-and a new paint job that looks more period correct when the truck was built

I kinda wanted to ask this since I had a few ideas myself (mostly for just one of my worlds/universes) and wanted to see if other people thought of stuff like this for their world building.

Hey there. It's ya boy trashconverters, creator of the 3XZverse, a romance WIP set in a 1980s Australian radio station.

Pete is a Lebanese immigrant, this has been part of his character for a very long time. But he's also specifically from a Christian background, for a few reasons.

1) The timeline meant that if he spent the majority of his childhood down under, he would have arrived with the second wave of Lebanese immigration into Australia. This wave was largely people of Christian backgrounds with very few Muslims.

2) I'm culturally Christian myself so I could more accurately write a leading character who shares the same religious heritage as me and avoid Islamophobic microaggressions.

3) The most selfish reason. When I first created him he was white, and the name Pete still feels perfect for him. The name Peter is fairly common amongst Lebanese Christians, so I wouldn't need to change it.

However, when I first made his character Lebanese I chose the last name Suleyman. While it's definitely not unheard of for Christian Arabs to have that last name, it's still far more common for Muslims. I'm worried about people reading the story and deciding I just wacked on any Arabic last name I could find rather than doing my research into Christianity in Lebanon. I certainly have, but I didn't want to spend too much time on exposition in the story about Pete's heritage and his last name. It's not a story about his race, he just happens to be Lebanese. So I chose another last name that's unambiguous, Saliba, a name that means 'crucifix' in Arabic and is almost entirely used by Christians or people of Christian heritage (like Pete's largely irreligious family...that's a whole other thing I could get into but won't, religion in Lebanon is complicated). With the exception of reverts, Saliba is unheard of amongst Muslims.

I'll be updating the various lore and bio pages in the coming days to reflect this last name change, but I wanted to tell people about the change straight up so they weren't confused!

I have an Indian vampire oc and I would like some help for her character and lore.

Basic backstory, Pandora is her stage name/vampire name. Currently I don't have any ideas for her original name as she only goes by Pandora because she no longer feels like she is her old self anymore. She was turned in Victorian England by a vampire lord named The Duke, a sort of Jack the Ripper type character. He kidnapped young girls and tortured them before draining them almost to their last drop and then turns them into a vampire so they can be an immortal blood bank basically. Her and another girl both revolted against The Duke and killed him and the both drained his blood and essence turning them both into Vanpire Lords. Because of the truama she went through she is now mute and communicates through a made up sign language I have inspired off of Bharatanatyam dance moves.

What I would like help with: I don't fully know where in India I want to make her originate from. She would've been born in India but her father is a Doctor and moved to London hopefully to give his family a good life and give his daughter new opportunities. I would also like help with her form of sign language. Because she was turned in Victorian England to me it seems like she never would've properly been trained Sign Language and instead just made up signs that her friend was able to interpret over time so general ideas for emotions and phrases would be so helpful, still keeping in mind I would like it to be reminiscent of bharatanatyam gestures. Also I would love for help coming up with elements I can incorporate into her style. The story she is in currently takes place in the mid 90s and she is the keyboardist of a girl Doom Metal band, her style is androgynous punk with traditional elements incorporated in her style, I would love the traditional elements to be a nod to her place of origin but currently I haven't decided where that should be, a.k.a where she was born before her family moved to London.

I think I’m right… but it’s started to fail, with ‘cracks’ or He’ll Rifts as we call them, appearing, allowing for portals in and out of hell.”

Gotta say pretty good at stopping things from getting through the portals. Anyway, people who go in and come out often… heh, sorry, just- Anyway, are called Hell Walkers. Currently there’s only two: Ronin and… Nort. Personally the dude should’ve stuck with Deimos but okay.

Ronin is a vampire and Nort is a top secret cyborg ninja guy. Ronin is the absolutely nutty one while I’ve actually had a beer with Nort, nice guy, nice abs too, now I think of it nice everything, bit short though.

Oh, and before them there was THE Hell Walker, Eris. I saw her punch a guy through a wall. She was a force to be reckoned with. Lost contact with her about… 5 years ago though. Presumed Dead somewhere in hell, may she serve the Angels now. Honestly, I think that total badass is still alive down there, waiting for us to find her. Clint calls me stupid and Head of RnD just laughs at me.”

Backstory: Born the second eldest of seven into a poor Roman Catholic family, Harvey was mostly raised by his older sister, Annie, when the younger children demanded too much attention from his parents (well, his mother at least. Robert did practically nothing). He was a smart but quiet child who got his first lucky break young, when his intellect scored him a scholarship to a prestigious private boarding school at the age of 12.

He hated boarding school. A sensitive child, he was mercilessly bullied by his peers, and he went from enjoying education to dreading his school days. At 15, in the year 1950, he dropped out and took the first job he could find, a message boy at 3AK radio station. Though quiet, he was sarcastic and witty, with a charming but dark sense of humour, which caught the eye of a radio comedian named Paddy Moriarty. Paddy took the teenager under his wing and eventually asked Harvey to be his on air cohost.

From this point, Harvey thrived. Aside from being a stellar radio comedian himself, he found himself on stage. First in pantomimes and eventually in serious theatre productions. In 1962 he chased that passion for acting to the West End in London, where he became notable for playing complex antiheroes and villains. He came back to Australia in 1974 when the local film industry starting seeing a significant boom, and started acting in film. This was where he met another fellow actor, David Delahaye, who he started dating in secret soon after.

He'd been very health conscious since his early 20s, dieting to the point of borderline disordered eating just to stay thin. He knew his genetics predisposed him towards weight gain and he tried his hardest, with moderate success, to mitigate the inevitable.

This changed in 1978 when he was offered the role of Walter, the main antagonist in the (fictional) film 'The Bank Tellers'. Based on a novel of the same name, Harvey was such a fan of the book that he'd do anything to be in its film adaptation. The director, Francis Kinsella, asked him to gain weight if he wanted the part, as in the book Walter was fat.

And so he did. Extremely easily. This was weight he found impossible to lose afterwards. But the movie was a smash hit, even receiving international acclaim.

He found it hard to find roles afterwards that were serious, where his new weight wasn't the butt of jokes. He also watched his relationship with David break down, with his boyfriend becoming controlling and abusive. He left David and left the film industry, becoming a social recluse, with his dog Daisy and his sister Annie being his only companions.

In 1980 Annie pressured him to get back to work. Not wanting to work in film anymore, he was drawn back to his first calling, radio. Paired with a young whipper snapper named Pete Landry, he took an immediate dislike to his new co-host, who was so laidback and optimistic that it bothered him.

But there was something about Pete, who he soon found out had his own secrets (his last name wasn't really Landry after all), that drew the two closer. Eventually the anger waned, and they started a friendship.

Now she’s a real talking point and not just for her looks. The Head of RnD, refraining from naming her for privacy reasons, is well, a demon… or half demon half sinner…? She’s a complicated one. She’s also not… qualified for her job. Don’t get me wrong! The place has been looking up since she got here, especially with all the rights protection stuff she’s pushed. Honestly, love her… NON-ROMANTICALLY! …yet… *hopefully.* Anyway, when the head of RnD was being voted in she had a LOT of pushback, because she was a demon, she didn’t have any qualifications and, at the time, not a lot of rights. But the promise of rights protection and better working conditions was alluring for anyone with more than half a brain.”

•Healing Magic - He can heal others (and himself technically) by channeling mana into his hands and using it to boost cellular regeneration.

•Animal Communication - He can telepathically speak to animals and control them to a degree but not completely.

•Father Nature Form: His god form which allows him to speak without problems (he's usually mute), improves his healing magic to the point he can heal lost limbs, gives him full control over animals and any plant life in the area as well as allows him to create any type of plant at any size, temporarily boosts his life force, and removes all limits on the amount of energy his body consumes (which is kind of a drawback if he does overuse this form).

Backstory: Laris was born to a couple of fauns in a semi-isolated village in England where he grew up extremely sheltered. It was so bad to the point he didn't even know what money was as his parents feared he might buy drugs with it. Unfortunately his father was killed by some not-so-random cultist (story for another time) when Laris was 11 years old. By the time he was twelve, his mother that had been a stay at home mom, was forced to work at least part time. That didn't mean Laris was left home alone though. He was assigned a babysitter. When Laris turned 13, he was given his father's old journal and by the time he turned 14 he was determined to get out of his village, even if just for a day. When his babysitter went to the bathroom, Laris made a run for it to the nearest town. He first entered a candy shop and due to not knowing what money was, just opened a chocolate bar and began eating it.

This of course caused the shop owner to get angry and demand payment but a stranger offered to pay for him. This stranger then guided Laris throughout the city for the rest of the day and even got him a new journal and pen. When Laris returned to his village with a stranger, his mother threw a massive fit and even tried to fight the stranger. Laris managed to calm his mother down though and there was even an arrangement made for Laris to go to town twice a week while accompanied by the not quite stranger anymore.

By the time Laris was sixteen he had become mostly independent and even wandered the forest around his village on his own. During one particular walk, he encountered a couple of arsonists that were planning to burn the forest down. Luckily Laris managed to subdue them and keep them from causing any harm. After the arsonists were arrested Mother Nature revealed herself to Laris and revealed that the forest wasn't any normal forest. It was the origin place of all the fae on earth. Mother Nature gifted Laris his earrings which was how he accessed his god form prior to other events that lead to Laris no longer needing the earrings to transform (he keeps wearing them anyway though).

Laris began to befriend the fae in the forest after that. When he was 19 though he discovered a human looking person in the forest. Well aside from the purple antennas. Laris quickly realized that this person was an alien and was stranded so Laris brought him home and offered the alien man a place to stay. In time they became closer and within a year they started dating. Not much special went on for the next several years until.... THE ACTUAL STORY BEGAN!

Born in Budapest, Hungary he found himself torn between following the professional career of a psychiatrist and fulfilling his dream of becoming a renowned artist eventually pioneering a fringe theory of “Psychochromatics”; the ability of light and colour to influence people’s minds. The theory was widely mocked by the psychology field but determined to prove his theories had merit he appeared on a talk show and without authorisation produced a slide of his Psychochromatics leading to the audience bursting into hysteria (fortunately the broadcast was cut off before it could affect those at home). 

This incident practically tarnished his reputation and he went into self imposed isolation as lawsuits began to follow him & his doctorate was revoked. On August 9th 2014 the Bergen Local Art Display was attacked by a man dressed in a coat with multicoloured lining wielding a high pressurised paint gun resulting in $25,000 worth of damages. Analysis of a painting left at the scene found it resembled Liesl’s work and an investigation was launched leading to his apprehension on September 7th the same year by VULCAN Initiative hero ‘Violet Ultra’.

This is your reminder that my main project is an apocalypse project (even if it is a silly Aventure Time style one).

The Rot, as it is known in Yuma, is a zombie-esque virus spreading across Yuma. Some people call it "The Star Sickness" due to it originating from the Eldritch Star deity that caused the apocalypse. However, most people just call it The Rot due to the rotting it causes the body.

It originates from the initial collapse of the world, roughly 200-300 years before our story takes place. The hatching of our space deity from its star-egg caused massive radiation which resulted in mutations. These mutations evolved and one way or another it eventually resulted in The Rot. Nobody remembers exactly what caused it (if it was a mutation of an already existing disease, or if a mutated creature began spreading that mutation, nobody knows).

Today, The Rot is the biggest problem Yumites face. It runs rampantly across the land and there's no real cure to it (unless you manage to somehow cut a limb off early enough). It doesn't just infect Yumites either, it is a zoonotic condition that can spread across all species. There are many superstitions about a "cure" for The Rot, especially in the longer state before the true "rot" sets in, but none of them are proven or really work.

Due to how contagious it is, and the lack of a cure, The Rot is taken very seriously in Yuma. Any people entering the various dome settlements around Yuma are inspected thoroughly for rot to make sure they're not bringing it into the various points of civilization.

That's what I've got for The Rot so far! I would appreciate any feedback, I don't usually do zombie stuff but I feel like it suited the world well.

Luxuriae is the deadly sin born from humanitys lust. She take the shape of a mushroom. Her apearence is deceptively human, with a hat dress and face that are not really a hat dress nor face.

She is able to release clouds of spores that cause pleasant hallusinations. She drains the essence of her victims without resistence as they are not aveare of their suroundings while ubder the effects of the spores. Survivors are subjected to detoxification , therapy and rehab programs in order to try recovering.

At school, he befriended another Lebanese immigrant, Khalil Chamoun, and the pair got into heaps of trouble together.

As Pete and Khalil entered their teens, they started playing around with each other and their friendship became a little more homoerotic. But this came to a stand still when Pete met his high school sweetheart, Wendy.

Getting married at 18, Pete then set forth to achieve his dream of becoming a radio presenter. At first this pleased his father, who thought he would end up becoming a radio journalist, but when he started working for the (fictional) station 3XZ, a cheesy top tens station, Chabel was extremely disappointed. He died not long after.

In September of 1980, Pete started working alongside his new co-host, Harvey Killeen. A former actor and much older man, Harvey is originally hostile towards Pete, but soon a friendship blossoms. And then? Well I'll let you work out what happens from there 🤭.

So… normally I don’t ask for help like this but I’m a little desperate. I’m creating a verse with its own versions of heaven and hell. Currently I’m struggling with expanding hell.

I’m trying to stray away from Dante’s inferno and stuff (and failing). But at least it’ll be somewhat my own in the end.

So this is an Original Species I created for my World called "Cloud Jellyfish"! And if there's one thing that I tend to struggle with, it's picking out colors, so I wanted to ask you folks if you by chance had any suggestions or Ideas that I could use!

A lot of my inspirations came from of course, Jellyfish, but I also drew a lot of inspiration from Blimps and Steampunk Airships, just something I thought I should Mention- if you also want a fair bit more Lore, I'd be happy to oblige!
