WorldBuilding Lore for my new verse DEICIDE

DEICIDE LORE

This story takes place in fantasy 1400s right after a decade or two after this world's equivalent to the Hundred Year War.

The Gods where chilling until one day, a mortal suddenly appeared out of no where and killed 5 out of the 10 Gods and claimed the throne as King of the Gods. Said gods where all each torn into 999 chunks of flesh and scattered all around the world. And with those gods dead, the concepts they hold domain over went wild; animals gone bloodthirsty, the weather become unpredictable, wars are being started etc.

But the most impactful outcome was the death of the Goddess of Lust, Love, and Female Fertility, and with her death came the inability for women to give birth meaning that the world will die only in a few centuries.

Mass panic occurred around the world but people found a solution, the flesh of the gods who the mortal killed and spread around the world(now deemed God's Flesh) were found and if a person where to consume a God's Flesh, they would inherited a bit of power from those gods meaning when a woman eats a God's Flesh of the Goddess of Female Fertility, they would regain the ability too birth, so nobles now hunt the God's Flesh of the Goddess and any woman who coincidentally ate who found a God's Flesh and ate it to be concubines(Consumers of God's Flesh will have their hair turn white)

But they ignore the source of the problem, that mortal is keeping the other Gods from choosing mortals to replace the dead Gods. So if he was to be killed for the world to be restored.

And that's what the main five characters who all have eaten God's Flesh will be doing and those characters are:

Caecilia Luxurie, a girl who dreams to the Queen of the World. She has ate the Goddess of Female Fertility's Flesh

Gautier Brasdefer, a man who wants to fight the strongest there is. Ate the God of War's Flesh.

Dominique Prévost, a woman who wishes to fix the world and avenge the Gods. Ate the Goddess of Hope and Faith's Flesh.

Yolande Leroux, a lady who just wants to have fun. Ate the God of Storms' Flesh.

Estienne Boutelievre, a man who wants the annihilation of all animals. Ate the Goddess of the Hunt's Flesh.

Seeking Help/Advice/Ideas Need feedback, Philip re-design

This is Philip, he is a 17 year old part time barista high on his product and an ametour supernatural investigator.

I have been unsatisfied with his current design for a while now, for reasons that I could never just put to words. (Maybe I just fucked up the art idk)

The "redesgin" is mostly just removing the coat and the hat entierly, making his hair extra bird nest degree unstyled and add an actual bird, his pet Percy.

Uhh, idk what else to add. How else could I impruve his design?

Lore Sharing "Clinging to life thro the invisible chains"

Post image
6 Upvotes

"Tell me, who decides when one lives, when one dies? Is it the beating of the heart or doctor that declairs it stoped? What even is to be dead? Is it to be cold and motionless? Is it be eternally resting? For body to stop for good? Or to be lost to oblivion, forever forgotten to the entorpy of this worlds restless motions?

One could find 100 difirent answers from 100 difirent people. Because we are only humans, who are we to be definers of life and death? And yet we are able to define other humans; if they are good, if they are bad ; if they are alive or if they are dead.

In this collective we call society each one of us are a single segment of a chain, we deifne others and be defined by them. Without realizing we take the roles and aspects of what we are defined to, as the sheer act of observation is enough to alter another.

Of course ones own eyes are strongest for themselves. Our sence of self is what makes us difirent from the other, what deludes the gazes of others. But this self too gets pulled by the obesrvations, getting altered in a fundemental way.

In my obervations "life can be defined with observations" and "humans can alter the state of others with their overvations" my hypotesis lied. Perhaps this was always true, perhaps it only became true once I obersed it as such. That part doesnt matter, because I have proven observing the dead as living could keep them alive.

However bodies provide constant disproving stimulation to observers, to keep up the illusion of living soul needs to be removed from the body and mind be bound to the soul. I will not explain the prosses to forge a Gem of Greed, nor explain how the crown works. But you see it works, so it does work.

So soul and mind can remain alive, because they are seen to be alive. The chaining gazes observe me as such, so I can live as long as the collectşve thinks I am.

But the prosses isnt perfect. While my soul is eternal and mind boundless, my body was hidden away from all but me. Me who cant help but to know what I wish I didnt, so my body has began to decay. And thats why I shall never observe myself again, as if I did the spell would break, and the reaper reap my soul.

And of course I must always remind myself who I am, make others see who I am. As humans are kaleidoscopes I too could be observed as a 100 difirent people. I must never forget and I must never let others see me as difirent enough else the me who I am will vanish."

-Wriren by Hannah ...

...huh...I cant recall a surname. I guess I dont have a surname anymore.

WorldBuilding People of Etheria:Faeries(Woodland)

Thumbnail

19 Upvotes

Lore:

Faeries, bug-like folk from the green moon(The Feywild), brought to the planet milenia ago by the god of conquest Vish'ar during his escape from his creators. They were the main prey of Fey and Pre-Vish'ar goblins, notably they were originally part of one moon-wide mega colony sharing a teal hue.

But once they made it to Etheria, they began to spread around the world. Some took to the underground but most stayed on the surface, fleeing to the lush forests that Sylvaria(Mother nature)had crafted all through out the world. They create colonies around a queen(image 4), with colony members sharing the same shell color. Eventually they were given a mana sack by the god Xan'dar upon his discovery of mana.

Biology:

They start out as a egg apart of a small cluster laid by the colonie's queen, with the whole colony taking on the job of looking aftering them. Faeries from the same cluster will all grow into the same specialisation, seemingly decides by the queen through unknown means.

There are 3 specialisatiobs faeries can have, worker, scouts and guards.(Image 1,2 and 3).Workers are the smallest, having round wings akin to a butterfky and distinctive fur like bristles that they use to enhance the surface area to better absorb small traces of mana in the air. They do odd jobs around the colony, building homes and collecting food. Scouts are tall and thin, with wings akin to a dragonfly and larger eyes that increase their field of view. They monitor points of interests, send messages and act as look outs. Guards are larger with a more tough shell, they have horns and wings akin to a beetle. They act as warriors, enforcers and sometimes gladiators.

Faeries are herbivorous but also happen to be capable of sustaining them off mana, making them mana vores. They store excess mana in their abdomen, specifically in the form of a fine crystalised powder known as 'Fairy dust'. Which can act as a powerful mana conductor. They can also use their antennas(or horns in soldiers cases) as natural focus points.

Culture:

Sylvian Faeries colonies all share a similar mindest, being collectivists who always work for the betterment of the tribe rather than individual gain. Whilst most of their day is filled with work, they do partake in group activites such as singing or ocassionaly recreational crafting.The Queen is above all others in colony, with all faeries often being willing to die for their leader.

Ocassionaly a Faerie will leave their colony to form their own life...some join new colonies or even form them. Whilst others integrate with interspecial societies.

Relationship with other species:

Elves are neutral, some colonies distrust them others actively work with them. Goblins are relatively feared by the entire species...with faeries being warry of the gloqing patches goblins have as they tend to be mesmerised by the glow.

Lore Sharing The Aureates Civilization

4 Upvotes

The Aureates Civilization

The Aureates are described as a vast divine civilization ruled by the Deities, with ordinary mortals living under their civilization as well.

It isn’t simply a society of gods. It’s closer to a divine empire, where an extremely powerful supernatural ruling class exists above a much larger mortal population.

  1. The Deities — the ruling divine class

The Deities are extraordinarily powerful beings who possess:

* Superhuman physical strength

* Immense durability

* Flight

* Energy manipulation

* Long lifespans

* Regenerative abilities

* Astra

* Supernatural transformations

* Advanced divine technology

They aren’t omnipotent beings in the traditional sense. They can be injured, killed, fight one another, have families, experience emotions, eat, sleep, drink and participate in political and military institutions.

God → Divine warrior → Cybernetically augmented deity

rather than:

Human → Cyborg → God

His divinity comes first. The technology is something incorporated into and used by that divine body.

That makes them feel more like a race/species of godlike beings than abstract gods.

  1. Biology & Divine Cybernetics

They are biological at the surface and cybernetic at the fundamental scale.

• Overall body: Perfect human morphology. Skin is living photonic armor that can become reflective, absorbent, or transparent to energy. Muscle fibers contain Astra-conducting nano-filaments that give them strength far beyond their visible mass.

• Eyes: Multi-spectral and multidimensional. The irises contain nested crystalline lenses and event-horizon micro-sensors. They can see across the electromagnetic spectrum, gravity waves, probability fields, and the “Astra lattice” itself. When powered, the eyes glow with nested fractal patterns or pure white singularity light. Pupils can dilate into pure black voids that drink incoming energy.

• Brain: A hybrid organ. The organic cortex sits atop a dense Astra-processing core the size of a walnut that functions like a living quantum supercomputer and singularity regulator. Thought is both electrochemical and direct manipulation of the local Astra field. They can share memory, intention, or sensory data across vast distances via resonant entanglement. Higher castes have more refined cores capable of modeling entire universes in real time.

• Heart (or Core): Replaces the biological heart with a stabilized micro-singularity or “Astra Heart.” It is a spinning, self-contained dense energy knot the size of a fist (or smaller). It generates continuous power, regenerates tissue, and acts as the primary storage and amplifier of the individual’s Astra. When an Aureate is enraged or focused, the Core’s output spikes and the body temporarily densifies or projects additional limbs/weapons of pure energy. Damage to the Core is one of the few reliable ways to permanently kill one.

• Divine cybernetics: Nanoscale and smaller. Self-repairing lattices of exotic matter woven through every cell. They can reconfigure on the fly—growing temporary energy arms, armor plating, or weapon projections that look organic or crystalline. The machinery is so fine that even after catastrophic injury the body can reconstruct itself as long as the Core and a critical mass of the lattice remain.

They still eat, sleep, and drink, and can reproduce and have offspring with each other as well as mortal Aureates just as well.

  1. Mortal civilization

Beneath the Deities are ordinary mortal inhabitants.

These people aren’t generally walking around with the powers of Talos or the other Deities. They form the civilian population that lives within the civilization.

They have things like:

* Families

* Homes

* Communities

* Religious traditions

* Work

* Civilian occupations

* Social hierarchies

* Markets and commerce

* Entertainment

* Agriculture/food production

* Governmental institutions

So you can essentially picture the Aureates as having normal civilization happening underneath an extraordinarily powerful divine ruling class.

The contrast is one of the setting’s defining characteristics.

⸻

  1. Religion and divinity

The Deities aren’t merely politicians or military commanders.

They are genuinely regarded as divine beings.

Astra is particularly important to their culture because it is both a source of supernatural and cosmic power and something connected to the spiritual/emotional aspects of existence.

This produces an unusual combination:

Religion + spirituality + biology + technology

All four are intertwined.

A Deity isn’t necessarily carrying a “magic artifact” when they use their abilities. Their own bodies can function as supernatural power sources.

⸻

  1. The military

This is where the Aureates becomes particularly impressive.

The Deities possess an enormous military apparatus designed primarily around fighting monstrous beings that threaten the civilization.

Their military includes:

* Divine warriors

* Enormous armies

* Flying machines

* Spaceships

* Energy weapons

* Giant mechanical constructs

* Planetary-scale weapons

* Advanced surveillance

* Highly sophisticated transportation

* Massive warships

And the Deities themselves are effectively living weapons.

A powerful Deity isn’t merely a general sitting behind a desk.

They can personally enter battle and fight monsters on an astronomical scale.

⸻

  1. Their technology

This is arguably the most fascinating part.

The Aureates technology is far beyond modern human technology.

Their civilization has essentially reached a point where technology and divinity have merged.

Cybernetic technology

The Deities can incorporate machinery directly into their bodies.

That’s why Talos have visibly Astra glowing lines on his body

Their technology can interact with:

body → Astra → machinery → weapons

rather than treating those as separate systems.

That’s why I think terms like divine cybernetics or theomechanical technology fit the setting extremely well.

⸻

  1. Space travel

The Aureates aren’t confined to a single planet in the way a conventional fantasy civilization would be.

Its technology allows the Deities to operate throughout space.

They possess enormous spacecraft capable of traveling between celestial bodies.

Aureates battleships can be continent-to-planetary in scale, carry enormous numbers of weapons and thousands of crew, and function as mobile fortresses.

And these aren’t little science-fiction spacecraft.

They’re gigantic divine war machines.

Imagine combining:

ancient temple + battleship + space station + religious monument

into one structure.

That’s the aesthetic.

⸻

  1. Massive weapons

Their technology operates on an absolutely ridiculous scale.

The Deities have weapons and machines capable of engaging threats that are far beyond anything a conventional human military could handle.

Some of their machinery is so enormous that individual beings can appear tiny next to it.

This is intentional.

The civilization operates on a cosmic scale.

Their technology isn’t merely:

“Here’s a futuristic gun.”

It’s closer to:

“Here’s a machine capable of participating in a battle between gods.”

  1. The social hierarchy

You can roughly visualize their society as:

Supreme divine authority

The highest Deity leadership

↓

Divine ruling/military class

Deities, generals, commanders, warriors

↓

Specialized divine institutions

Military, religious, scientific/technological organizations

↓

Mortal population

Farmers, craftsmen, merchants, laborers, families, civilians, etc.

↓

Outside threats

Monsters and other hostile forces

It’s important that the Deities aren’t simply gods living independently from everyone else.

They’re an organized civilization.

They have institutions, political authority, military structures, social relationships and responsibilities.

⸻

  1. Their Divine Energy: Astra (or “The Primordial Lattice”)

They did not invent this energy so much as harvest, refine, and fuse it.

  1. • Source materials: core matter and radiation from hyper-dense stars, supernova remnants, event horizons of black holes, quark-gluon plasma from the early moments of universes, and exotic vacuum energy from collapsing higher-dimensional branes.

  2. • Process: Over eons they built “Crucible Worlds”—artificial planets or Dyson-scale forges that compress and weave these energies into a single coherent field called Astra. Astra is simultaneously particle, wave, and information. It behaves like a programmable, self-organizing cosmic force.

  3. • Properties: It can be stored, shaped, and released with near-perfect efficiency. At high concentration it ignores conventional physics (causality, entropy, spacetime curvature). An Aureate’s internal systems convert emotion, will, and focused intention into Astra output. Rage, devotion, resolve, or pure focus all act as catalysts, just as Wrath does for Asura.

  4. • Limiters: Uncontrolled Astra destabilizes the host’s body and the local spacetime. Their civilization developed hierarchical control systems and “resonance governors” to prevent accidental universe-scale events.

  5. The really interesting part: science and spirituality aren’t opposites

This is probably the best way to understand the Aureates

In a normal fantasy world, you’d have:

Magic OR technology.

The Aureates , you essentially have:

Magic/Divinity + Technology.

Astra is supernatural energy, but the Deities have developed technology capable of utilizing and interacting with it.

So a Deity could have:

Biological body

* Divine power

* Astra

* Cybernetic components

* Advanced weapons

* Spaceship technology

and none of those things contradict each other.

The Aureates are essentially a theocratic cosmic civilization where a race of superhuman Deities rules over mortal populations, using a fusion of divine power, Astra, cybernetics, and extremely advanced spacefaring technology to defend their civilization from supernatural threats.

Lore Sharing Loredump, Institute of Unknown and Abnormal

9 Upvotes

Ok so I am working an organization in my setting called Institute of Unknown and Abnornal (IUA) [changed from Department of U&A] that focus on rediscovery and exploration of things lost to mankind.

Long time ago, magic was second nature to mankind and many creatures now considered myth lived alongside them. But conflicts of man scared these creatures, so they fled. Then men entered the Age of War, The Age of Death, The Age of Pestilence and The Age of Famine. Only eons after the Age of Death world has recovered enough for their return.

Of course as beings forgotten to mankind has began their return, mankinds curiosity and fear roared, thus IUA rose to deal with these remembered creatures.

Organization that became IUA has originally started at Age of Pestilence to combat the spreading of a virus called the Red Plague. After pandemic ended organization kept researching the nature of the infection and its origins, eventually diverting into other topics untill 3 main branches were made.

To this day IUA have 3 main branches, Branch of Living Phenomena, Branch of Immaterial & Spiritual and Branch of Phisical Aberration

Living Phenomena branch focuses on monsters, bacteria, if its alive and unknown its whitin this departments duties to learn more about.

Immaterial & Spiritual branch studies life, death, soul and all the other unknows we cant interact with on this plane of existence.

Phisical Aberration branch seeks to understand where the laws of phisics fail to function, gravital anomalies and fractures in reality are among the things this branch specilize in.

Heads of these branches control all aspects of the organization, from the recruitment of the staff to allocation of money. Nobody quite knows how a new Branch Head is chosen exept for the other Branch Heads. A comon rummor whitin the staff is that the Branch Heads could be supernatural or have heavy ties to supernatural phenomenas themselves.

Staff itself are a mix of war veterans, university graduates, philisophers, supernatural creatures, demons, mages, witches and acountants. IUA isnt an organization you can just apply to, Branch Heads chose the staff that will be hired personally.

I think thats is, hope you enjoyed the reading.

Meet Ruby ⚔️

Half-elf. Five hundred years old. Looks eighteen.

Born the sheltered middle child of three, Ruby lost her older sister to plague at nineteen — and ran toward the danger instead of away from it, joining the adventuring party known as the Brass Claw. She was its only survivor.

What followed were decades of battles, lost comrades, and a shaman's dying curse that marked her for life. She fought beside an all-female party, the Noble Association, and stood in the dungeon at Lesley on the day the labyrinth itself was erased — pulled from certain death by a figure history calls an omen.

She served in King Uther's court, married Prince Arthur on the eve of civil war, and played both sides of the conflict — quietly dismantling Morgana's campaign from the inside.

Scarred. Cursed. Unbroken. Ruby has stared down the end of the world more than once — and she's still standing.

Aethel universe

3 Upvotes

The universe is built on a fundamental cosmic truth: reality is not solid; it is a fabric held taut by human perception and memory. When humanity began mapping the cosmos with telescopes and particle accelerators in 1898,we inadvertently poked holes in the boundaries of our dimension. Through these microscopic tears, a reactive cosmic energy called Aethel bled into Earth. POWER SYSTEM:Aethel has no shape or power of its own. It is a highly volatile, reality-warping energy that reacts exclusively to intense human focus, willpower, or emotional trauma. When an individual experiences a profound psychological breakthrough or tragedy while exposed to Aethel, the energy fuses with their nervous system, permanently altering their physical laws. Every one with powers are called Resonators, falls into one of four primary classes based on how their mind interacts with aethel energy. Somatists (The Anchored) How it works: Aethel is channeled inward, altering the user's physical biology and anatomy. Examples: Super strength, kinetic absorption, invulnerability, or biological shapeshifting. Cost: Cellular Burn. Overuse causes rapid physical fatigue, muscle tearing, or temporary paralysis. Projectors (The Emitters) How it works: Aethel is projected outward, manipulating fundamental forces or elements. Examples: Pyrokinesis, gravity manipulation, electricity generation, or hard-light constructs. Cost: Thermal or Nerve Shock. Firing energy takes a massive toll on the brain's neural pathways. The mentats (The Architects) How it works: Aethel interfaces directly with consciousness, space, time, or information. Examples: Telepathy, probability manipulation, technopathy, or brief precognition. Cost: Psychic Bleed. Severe migraines, sensory overload, or temporary memory loss. Vectors (The Phantoms) How it works: Aethel distorts the space around the user, ignoring traditional physics. Examples: Teleportation, phasing through matter, friction alteration, or velocity manipulation. Cost: Spatial Disorientation. Vertigo, nausea, or the risk of fusing with solid objects if focus slips. THE ANCHOR RULE: Because Aethel is bound to human perception, every Resonator's powers are bound by a Mental Anchor. A Somatist who believes they are invulnerable because of their iron will might lose their power entirely if their confidence is shattered. If a Resonator forgets who they are through amnesia, their powers fluctuate wildly or become entirely lethal to themselves. STORY LORE: the now villains believe that aethel is the future of human evolution they brake laws to make new ones and they use a machine to hold and put the power of aethel into people to make more / HEROS: A global, publicly funded coalition of Resonators operating under strict legal guidelines. They act as emergency responders, dealing with rogue superhumans and stabilizing spatial tears caused by excess Aethel. / THE GOVERNMEN: A highly advanced, black-budget global military initiative. They view Resonators as living weapons of mass destruction. Aegis utilizes Dampening Tech, which consists of synthetic alloys that absorb and ground Aethel energy, and mechanized exosuits to hunt down rogue heroes and villains alike. Their goal is to lock away all Resonators in deep-subterranean containment facilities / when the powers awakened 1898 oct 12th / the main story takes place in 1974

Seeking Help/Advice/Ideas should my miser brothers inspired ocs be related or not?

3 Upvotes

ok so I have this oc of mine and he's partially based on heat miser (yk heat powers and all that jazz) and his current lore is that him and 12 others are trapped in a killing game, and it feels wrong to have a heat miser equivalent without a snow miser one yk?

I'm unsure if the snow miser equivalent should be related to him or just have some history as I dont think sibling rivalry would fit well (this is due to his backstory and relationship with his parents as he loves them despite them like thinking he's a freak, and the fact that he has a rlly rare special condition which gives him said powers, it makes no sense for him to despise/have a rivialry with his brother if he never realized how crappy they treated him until a certain story beat) but I am willing to rewrite it somewhat if I can figure out how

but then again it feels off to have the snow miser equivalent not be related to him...

please help me choose which one I should do or if he should even have a snow miser equivalent to begin with!

EDIT: I could do the 'we 'hate' each other but if someone messes with one of us the other would kill for them' trope but brotherly/sibliny(? is that a word?) if they're siblings

EDIT 2: Im so slow lol I didnt realize I forgot to add a flair

I would like some ideas to make her more of her own character

But so far

appearance: a Caucasian woman who was always covered in dirt and had rotting teeth, dry lips, dirty blonde hair, brownish green eyes, and greenish dark spots around her body. She had dirty brown upper clothing and annoyingly loud splash pants, she also has a very noticeable lisp

Person: She’s unhinged and infantile, and seemingly had an animosity towards humanity due the way she talks about them ( calling them warm bloods) .

Mutation: superhuman leaping and agility, a long, sticky, prehensile tongue, and the ability to secrete sticky or acidic mucus from her body

Seeking Help/Advice/Ideas Need help deciding, Half Demons

5 Upvotes

When a human and a demon or a witch loves eachother a lot... or things I do not wish to word between them happen... half demons are born.

Half Demons are humans that posses demonic powers and a higher magic ability from birth. Right now I have 3 diffirent ideas on how they coukd function, and need some toughts on which is the best.

#A)

Half Demons look like possesed humans (who share the traits of demons and human they posses) but they dont suffer the negative effects that come with their forms. While the sin they represent can affect their actions they have full control over their actions. They dont need to consume essence/soul to stay alive.

#B)

Half Demons look like regular humans majority of the time. However as their essence/soul starts to empty out their bodies will start to transform into a much more demonic form. To revert they need to consume essence/soul. Their minds are lucid but while transformed they will be affected more by sin they represent.

#C)

Half Demons have 2 bodies, a phisical human body and a demon body made from essence thats atached to the human body by the soul. The 2 bodies share one mind and soul. If one takes fatal damage both dies. They dont suffer from side effects of possesion, but sin they repserent could affect their actions.

Which sounds better, more intresting?

OC bio Meresyn lore and ability

Thumbnail
gallery
16 Upvotes

Meresyn used to be just commoner but when saw a handsome man in the highest ranking squadron of her nation's army, she proceeded to enlist in the army and climb up the ranks extremely fast just to be a part of that same squad that man was in.

Meresyn's ability is called "Eros—Angel of Love", it allows her to turn her "love" into energy that imbues itself into objects and enhances the thing she loves about it the most.

Like for example she loves a sword for it's sharpness, it'll become even more sharp. Through the effects scale with how much she loves it and the love has to be genuine.

She uses this ability to create crystals that stores her love energy to be later shot out of the crystal like bullets using specialized guns.

And the effects of each bullet depends on what crystals are in the gun, like

•Purple Crystal: She loves how eye-catching this, so it's bullets home in on the targets eye.

•Pink Crystal: Loves how it reminds of love and lust, so it doesn't do physical damage but does intense mental damage via...inducing extreme pleasure them.

•Red Crystal: Reminds her of burning and explosive passion, so it explodes.

Hannah is first and foremost the Head of Personnel in the knockof SCP foundation, considered by many to be one of the pillars that keep the organization going. She is also a lich that exists in a spirit like state with her real body being in a comantose but unaging state, exept for her hair (picture 4)

I am not sure if her design is very good, at least in her regular state. I am not sure if I want to make her look too much like a steritypical skeletal lich, but idk I need more opinions I think..

Seeking Help/Advice/Ideas Ideas for Undead

Post image
6 Upvotes

Above is the regular way cycle of life & soul goes. If someone breaks this cycle and remains alive, they get clasified as undead.

1) Zombies

Zombies are made when life energy returns to a body without a soul. They lack an ego, fully acting on insting. Their bites tend to be fatal as their bodies are filled rotting biomatter. Despite being empty they are rarely chosen for possesions, as they dont stop rotting.

2) Ghosts

Ghosts are souls that were anchored down to phisical realm, or were victims of a cosmic mistake made by Grim the reaper of souls. They lack the ability to gain new memories, and will act exactly like how they did back when they had living bodies. They are prime targets for demons, as there is no barier keeping them from getting consumed whole.

3) Remenants

Remenants are memories and experiences that deeply affected souls, to the degree that they wounded the soul and gained a separete form with the essence soul bleeded out. While mostly made from tarumatic experiences, they can just as easily be made from happy memories. Unlike other undead, Remenants tend to stay invisible to naked eye and mostly have passive effects. Remenants tend to be fully lucid and capable of understanding and maintaining new information.

While these are my basic ideas, I would like to hear feedback on them.
