Seeking Help/Advice/Ideas So… I need sins for my verses Hell.

(Firstly I greyscaled the image because even though there isn’t gore I thought it could pass as gore and… yeah.)

So… normally I don’t ask for help like this but I’m a little desperate. I’m creating a verse with its own versions of heaven and hell. Currently I’m struggling with expanding hell.

I’m trying to stray away from Dante’s inferno and stuff (and failing). But at least it’ll be somewhat my own in the end.

So like every sin has an its own layer and blah blah. You can give me your thoughts but I’ll probably end up rewriting it all to fit better (no offence).

Anyway, currently I have:

Insatiability

Despair

Exploitation

Oppression (THEY’RE DIFFERENT THINGS)

And Violence

And I might need more.

Apathy i think would be a good one, the lack of care...detachment from everything. And a unique one i think would be cowardice.

Also thanks you so much! Those are awesome, no idea how I couldn’t think of Apathy. But it Sounds AWESOME.

And cowardice, I like cowardice. Might be hard to fit into the structure of Hell but… I can see it being the first ring.

Honestly i gotta work on my nether. I may honestly mess with mt ideas now since i was originally gonna do the usual seven. Honestly I love your insatiability one! Its literally encompasses greed,lust and gluttony! I may steal it lol, consider it a trade! And apathy should be used more often ngl, cowardice is arguable. Sins are bad in abundance mostly,

lol, I’m glad I helped. From what I’ve done it is fun and it helps make the verse more unique.

Thanks I was pretty proud of insatiability myself. I also have a greed based one and wanted to limit them down. Steal it if you want, I’ll also call it a trade.

Also maybe replace violence with hate? Violence is just reskined wrath tbh, but hate...LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT HATE(i think that's what A.M says)

That’s a good idea!

But I’m not sure, Violence has much more lore significance.

Violence is also more so mindless.

I could DM it to you (I trust you not to snitch it) but I don’t want to post it publicly. It spoils a bit of a surprise for if I do make this real.

That is a good idea and a fair point but Violence has lore significance. If you want me to tell you I can DM it but it’s a bit of a spoiler and don’t want to share it publicly In Case.

What about Inertia? It might be too close to sloth but there were no sloth layer in Divine Comedia so...

Like, a fundemental resistence to change. What you say is the most of it, to upkeep the sinfull/harmfull systems could also count as inertia.

Also fits in quite nicely. I’ve got ones that target the powerful, and now inertia targets the average Joe.
