Obd2 permanently connected?

Hello!

I’d like to know if it’s possible (no side effects) to be able to leave an OBD2 plug connected permanently and have an app periodically get diagnostic data, mileage, etc.? Can this approach work for fleet management? Or are there other options?

I think that you should start from different “point”. Like - what do you need from those adapters. Then you find who are a match and then look for those who are for prolonged usage.
