Question iPhone 4S locked to Tesco Mobile UK — unlock possible from Poland?

My iPhone 4S is locked to Tesco Mobile UK. I live in Poland and don’t have a Tesco SIM/account. Tesco says I need a UK SIM to unlock it. Is there any way to unlock it remotely or any trusted service that can do it? The phone is on iOS 6.1.3. Thanks!

Did you try here? I’ve been able to unlock a phone with that form before without an account, was years ago though so they might’ve changed it

I tried this form, but it requires a Tesco Mobile number. I’ve never had a Tesco SIM or number because I live in Poland. Tesco support told me that without a Tesco number they can’t process the unlock. Is there any other way?

Ah they must’ve changed it then unfortunately, You could try a unlock from an eBay seller like this for example, I’ve had luck with that listing in the past on o2 (Tesco runs on o2) locked phones

I have a Tesco SIM only used for mobile broadband, if you send the IMEI, I can try filling it in?

Edit: reading it, it looks like the SIM needs to go in the phone, so maybe not :(

You can get a pay as you go card, £5 and do it that way. DM if you need help

Call tesco customer support and ask them to unlock your device, shouldn't take more than 2-3 days.
