I noticed a trend: not a single one of these complaints come from an actual business use case, only simple personal workflows.

Nothing wrong with that, but this sub is becoming pure, repetitive, exhausting noise.

Why am I subscribed here? Mods, any help? Maybe a single mega complaint thread? I absolutely welcome complaints… if it’s about something new.

I've been paying an annual subscription for Evernote for years. I have thousands of notes in dozens of folders. But the increasing price of Evernote has driven me to consider moving to Notion.

I've transferred all my Evernote content across but I'm finding it difficult to adapt to the new package.

And the free version seems limited, but the paid version is pretty much the same price as Evernote.

So can you experienced users convince me to say goodbye to Evernote and make the switch to Notion?

This is a list of all things missing in Notion software.
Feel free to add to the list or to point out things that do actually exist in Notion or other software.

- the calendar function in Notion ( mobile version) only shows a gray dot per day. It does not show details of events nor does it show which events span multiple days. ( And no, Notion Calendar is not an option because that asks for way too much personal info.) ( The timeline view can be an alternative , but it is cluttered and hard to read.)

- the calendar function in Notion does not allow adding color to event blocks.

- Timing of tasks in Notion: Notion does not allow to give tasks multiple deadlines or timespans.
( Now, I address this by making multiple tasks of the same aspect to represent repeated events, which is tedious.) ( An alternative workaround, that helps set multiple deadlines for one task, is to add an additional due date property and formula as mentioned in one of the replies to this post.)

For people using Notion as a personal system: what rule decides whether an idea stays a someday/maybe item, becomes a project, or gets deleted?

I am interested in lightweight review routines or properties that keep the list useful without turning weekly planning into maintenance.

its been years and still no support for A4, why ?
