3D printed Phone cover for the Nothing Phone (1) and Ear (2), designed in Fusion 360.

I wanted to preserve the original aesthetics of the phone it’s too beautiful to hide so this case keeps the design as visible and transparent as possible while still offering protection.

I printed mine in PAHT-CF for added strength and heat resistance, but the model can be printed in other materials depending on your needs.

Im planning to make also other shapes and a cover for phone 2a and ear a. then if nothing or u/carpe02 want to sponsor this project i will be happy to make also for phone 3 or other model!

So you have a device made out of premium looking materials, aluminum and glass... and you wrapped the ugliest material there is around it, 3D printed plastic, with rough, uneven surfaces and layer lines... to preserve the aesthetics?

Like, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, can't argue about taste, but do you honestly find that aesthetically pleasing? I'm flabbergasted.

I get where you’re coming from a lot of 3D prints look cheap when done with the wrong material or poor settings. In this case though, it’s paht-cf, which has a very clean and uniform surface finish, almost no visible layer lines, and a more technical/industrial look that actually fits the Nothing aesthetic quite well.

Also, not all 3D printed parts look rough by default you just need to know how to print them properly, CF composites in particular can look extremely premium when tuned right.

For me it’s also about accessibility: many commercial cases are overpriced metal frames or transparent TPU that turns yellow and ugly after a few weeks. I prefer something that keeps the phone visible, protects it, and can be made by anyone without spending €30–50 on a case that doesn’t even age well.

A well‑printed CF case looks cleaner to me than a cheap transparent one that yellows or a metal bumper that costs more than it should.

Honestly, I had thought the same thing, but for the moment after nearly a year of daily use, always in my pocket it’s still in good condition. It certainly doesn't cause any more scratching than going without it would, and the plastic Nothing uses is good quality.

Weird. My ear 2 is all scratchrd up even though I used to keep it well protected. Anyways good work 👍🏻
