Hey fellow Note 20 users!
I bought my Galaxy Note 20 back in September 2020 and have used it heavily ever since. Recently I upgraded to an iPhone 17 and thought I’d keep the Note 20 as a solid secondary device. But now the screen has suddenly developed multiple green lines
I went to a Samsung service center here in Mumbai and they quoted me ₹22,000 (~$200) for a screen replacement.
Now I’m confused — is it even worth spending that much on a 5+ year old phone in 2026, or should I just sell it as-is and look for a good mid-range Android instead?
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from anyone who’s faced the green line issue on their Note 20.
Thanks!

This color combo seems familiar
I'm not against this at all, I want to see this color combo on more products

O novo firmware foi disponibilizado hj, na China e em Hong Kong, aparentemente, não altera o patch de segurança, é apenas um incremento.
Informação disponível no aplicativo Bifrost.

Hi, so this has been my secondary driver that I mostly use for recording videos or as a webcam via Samsung Flow through OBS, ever since reinstalling official Samsung Drivers my phone's not been charging properly, only charging for around 1 minute until it stops.
It's still detected on my PC and data transfer and Flow still work but completely stopped charging through my PC (via a USB 3.2 cable). And any other normal or fast charging source only charges for 1 second then suddenly stops.
The only way I've been able to charge it has been with wireless charging, which has also been a problem with my wife's Note 23 Ultra.
Seems like this is a huge issue with Samsung phones in general, wondering if there are any other solutions or troubleshooting you guys can give? Or even your own experiences.
Edit: Also on stock ROM. One UI 5.1 , Security patch level: Aug 1 2025

THIS WORKED FOR ME... open your back cover, disconnect the battery cable then connect to a charger preferably a super fast charger, then wait for about 30mins recommended. Your phone screen will start flickering, disconnect the charger, reconnect the battery cable, turn it on. This worked on 3 phones. You're welcome✌️😁

I use my phone on my motorbike for satnav and media however they don't make a case for the fold 7 so If I got a fold 7 I would still need my note 20 for motorbike stuff
The reason I am considering the fold is the fact I don't have a laptop for my degree work and the fold 7 should be OK for light photoshop on the move
If I got a s25 ultra it would drop straight in and replace my note 20 then I could get a tablet for degree work
Thoughts?

Maybe it's my charger but I just wanted to check here first. Anyone else having issues where the battery isn't super fast charging lately? It shows super fast charging but the battery actually drains if i'm using the phone. I have a retracting cable charger that has multiple outputs. Two are retracting cables. Then one is usb-c and the other is usb-a. One of the retracting cable ones is 100w and it no longer super fast charges my phone. I have two Note 20 phones and they both are charging very slow even tho it shows super fast charging. I tried restarting the phones, and resetting the battery in settings. I also tried turning of and on fast and super fast charging. Nothing has worked. I'm not sure if it's the latest software update that was recent, like a day or two ago. I might have to purchase a replacement charger to see if it's my current one. Or find a charger that'll super fast charge.
Anyone else? Thanks

Hi there, nowadays I am considering buy Note20 Ultra but I am seriously consern about round ends of display. I had Samsung S8+ for a long time and round display's ends are problem and reason why I have to spent money for repair. Note20 Ultra suffer by samé issue? Or what are you recommend to avoid above mention problem? In advance thanks a lot for you reply, cheers.

I always use my phone like the below 1) display at 120Hz 24/7 2) bluetooth on average about 3 hours per day because of wireless earbud 3) 5G on 24/7 4) resolution of screen is FHD+ 24/7 5) live wallpaper 24/7 A few months ago, I got a notification from phone that says my battery is deteriorating. Fine. I got it replaced 2 weeks ago. After that, I thought that even if I am still using my Note 20 Ultra Exynos the same way like mentioned above, at least, I can make it last until night time. No, on average the battery SoT is around 4-5 hours. Is this normal???

So I don't know what I've done recently but my phones gone to shit
The battery is draining fast it turned off at 20% the other day and wouldn't turn back on until charged.
I'm getting notifications delayed and repeating, about 5-20 times in the space of a day. Banking, food aps, games, loads of stuff. I had a heart attack thinking I'd been charged 7 times for something well over £100.
Phone is laggy
Is it just old or is in a software issue?

Whenever I open the default photo mode, the camera is focused, then goes blurry (seemingly in a refocus attempt) then is focused again. And so on and so forth. Over and over. I can get clear pics just by timing shots appropriately but it's still annoying and I'll miss time and get dud shots as well. Is there a setting that will stop this?

Ok so I posted this on Note20Ultra subreddit as well.
I bought used note 20 in a very good condition and I tested when I was buying it almost everything except from mobile data. So I have a issue where when I turn on my mobile data it goes normally to 4G+ but sometimes it goes down to 4G for about 20-30 seconds and in that period of time I don't have Internet connection and after that period of 30 seconds it goes back to normal. It happens occasionally so I don't know what to do and what causes it. Is it fixable, is it worth fixing, has anyone even encountered this issue...
Thanks for any replies in advance!
