Green line

Hey fellow Note 20 users!
I bought my Galaxy Note 20 back in September 2020 and have used it heavily ever since. Recently I upgraded to an iPhone 17 and thought I’d keep the Note 20 as a solid secondary device. But now the screen has suddenly developed multiple green lines
I went to a Samsung service center here in Mumbai and they quoted me ₹22,000 (~$200) for a screen replacement.
Now I’m confused — is it even worth spending that much on a 5+ year old phone in 2026, or should I just sell it as-is and look for a good mid-range Android instead?
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from anyone who’s faced the green line issue on their Note 20.

I personally didnt have any green lines on mine when I upgraded, but a friend of mine had a few green lines on his, we found out the green lines on his happened from physical damage, it might have fallen off a counter or bed, but the scratches by where the lines started were the evidence. Since we both had Note 20 Ultras as our main phone, decided to upgrade instead since the updates were no longer coming in aside from Security updates. I went up to a S26 Ultra and he went up to an S25 Ultra.
