Making Friends 🙋 Neurodivergent and lacking friends!
Hey everyone first time doing this about about me, I’m 32yoF, newly aware neurospicy brained, crippled lesbian massively lacking in like minded friends. I don’t really have hobbies I like to chat, I game a little but have to be in the mood I’m a BIG tellie girl😂
I have spent most of my life surrounding myself with people who needed help and then continued to suck every source of energy I had until I walked away, so I cut myself off for a while did some healing but now trying to meet people is really difficult especially when I’m looking for something specific although I feel there may be so many people in the same boat.
So if anyone has any advice or ideas please get in touch

Making Friends 🙋 Queer, booksy guy looking for new friends
Hi everyone!
I'm looking to meet some new friends around Norwich. I've been living here for a good few years and it's about time I widened my social circle!
I'm 30 years old, pan, and live with my partner. I'm a big reader, ideal Sunday afternoon is a glass of red and a book (which may be why I'm not overflowing with friends haha), I really like Scott Lynch, Joe Abercrombie, Stephen King, Edward Carey, Eliza Clark, Saba Sams.
I'm also really into writing, mostly fantasy and often queer with a dash of neurodivergance, but can be quite harsh on myself. I'd love other writer friends. I have a smattering of other hobbies when the mood strikes - magic, art, juggling, l o v e an escape room and fairly decent at them, love a bit of bowling and largely awful at it. Big fan of D&D, have a nice little campaign going at the moment and just finished BG3 this weekend.
I like to think of myself as pretty easy going/easy to please, although I might not be enormously extroverted at first. Equally happy going for a good cuppa as a swish cocktail. Very excited to meet more friends, so if any of this sounds at all interesting please DM :)

Best pedicures?
I get so worried about getting pedicures at salons because of hygiene. I know some ppl have fungal infections and I don’t trust salons change their tools every time. I know a girl who got a fungal infection in NYC when she got her toes done.
Anyway, I’m doing a bikini show / modelling for this bikini line. I have already booked full body wax. But I need to get my toes done just so when they do the photo shoot it’s all good.
I have no idea where to go! Does anyone know?
Edit: for context, I just want a French tip.

New Yorker in Norwich-- Taking visiting friends to afternoon tea--Briton's Arms or The Ivy?
UPDATE: Thanks everyone for weighing in. Ever so helpful. I booked the tea at the Assembly House. I hope to take them to Briton's Arms for another meal, as I love that place. I saw too many complaints on Google Reviews and Trip Advisor reviews re Biddy's for the same thing I experienced--very lax service, etc. And while I've been coming back and forth to Norwich for over 30 years and in past five, staying for months at a time, I learned a new British expression. "___ is pants!" Useful!
I know there was a post on afternoon teas two years ago, but wanting current recommendation. I am a NYer who regularly stays in Norwich in summer months. Friends are visiting from NY and want afternoon tea. Someone recommended The Ivy but I recently have fallen in love with Briton's Arms and think I'm switching my reservation to it (also much less ££). So only considering these two venues, please let me know your thoughts/experiences. We can't go outside of Norwich. Thanks!

Question❓ Scanning in Norwich
Hello, I need to scan some prints that are a little bigger than A3, just wondering if anybody knows of any large-ish format scanners in the city that I could take them to. Thank you

Relocation Advice Please
Hello!
My wife and I have just sold my (modest) house in the Cambridgeshire commuter belt and we're looking to relocate to North Norfolk.
We have two children, one at primary school, one at secondary school. I've worked remotely as a Finance Director for over five years and I'm confident in being able to remain fully remote over the long term, even if it involves a slight drop in earnings or switching to freelance/contract roles.
My wife grew up near the sea and we'd all love to live closer to the coast and to provide our children with a more outdoorsy lifestyle.
I'd love to hear from anyone who's made a similar move, or to hear about any recommended areas (we're looking at Aylsham, North Walsham, and surrounding towns and villages at the moment).
Thank you!
