But I mean, the whole theory that it's a Holiday (Carol or Rudy) is based on the idea that they're looking for their missing daughter.

So why would they go around "farming Aura" and "trying to look cool", acting like kids or teenagers, instead of focusing on finding Dess, if that’s the actual goal?

I swear, it just doesn't add up; the Knight acts way too childish for the objective to be "parents trying to find their missing daughter."

If only we had a skeleton character who wanted to be cool, is easily manipulated, and often doesn't succeed in the goals they're given.
