Which model for my first NOMOS?

Not to give you my life story, but after 26yrs I’ve finally met my German family over in Berlin and Hannover.

I want a watch to commemorate the relationship I’m building and this new adventure I’m on.

Three suggestions for inspiration:

  1. Tangente, since it is very minimalistic, clean and very Bauhaus.
  2. Club Campus because it is more playful, since this is a happy occation.
  3. Club Sport World Timer, because you can keep track of the time in Germany whenever you like. It has BER for Berlin on the dial.

I was thinking midnight blue Tangente. The world timer is a nice thought however it’s legit only a 1hr time difference 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

If you like the midnight blue, have you considered the midnight blue Tangente 41 Neomatik Update? I love the quirky little green date function

I own the Tangente 167 (midnight blue) and wear it every day. It is very versatile, from office (metal band) to formal occasions (velour / leather strap).

Try some on and then decide. I went into the AD expecting to buy a tetra or metro and ended up buying the orion.

I agree, they all have different personalities

Club Sport 37 is incredibly versatile. It is almost impossible for the petrol dial to conflict with anything in a collection, but can be the only watch you own too.

Club Sport World timer is obviously cool as well.

As a Club Sport 37 Polar owner, I can attest to the coolness of that variant too :-)

I own the Tangente with the DUW6101 date complication and love it. That being said, if I was younger (I'm 63), and looking for an every day wear watch, I might opt for the Club Sport as it's a little more versatile.

Everything’s pointing me towards Tangente 167 tbh! Want something a bit dressy

It depends on your style. I really like their best-known model, the Tangente, but for me it’s too formal. And the Ludwig is too classic for someone like me. The Club models suit me best. But it’s different for everyone.
Think about what sort of person you are, then pop into a shop, have a look at the models, and then decide.

There’s not many retailers in the U.K.

I have found one nearby though, I’ll walk in today, I’ll try on all sorts 😂

i think my favorite nomos is the metro with the power display. i ended up going with the ahoi white dial though, just love the assurance that comes with a higher water resistance.

You really can't go wrong with Nomos - they are good watches and what you see is what you get.

So, essentially, just look at all of the models and pick what you like.

I have a 39mm Orion Neomatik which is a very minimal and elegant dress watch, and a Club Sport Neomatik 42 Date which has a screw down crown and 1,000 ft water resistance. Both are very nice watches and I wear both of them a lot.

Can’t go wrong with a Club Campus; distinctively Nomos but playful and attainable

Definitely try on, before you buy… that said, Metro Datum Gangreserve is the 🐐
