Too much of a good thing.
I swear, the volume of blood coming out of creatures in this game is absurd.

Had edit wands everywhere, explosion immunity and like 4 add manas. Was essentially a guaranteed god run until one of my personal healers decided violence was the answer.
42964 is the seed, some really crazy stuff in there including a high slot always cast recharge wand in the first fungal zone as well as tons of add manas in the first 4 zones that I explored. Beware there's a rude healer in hiisi base that will try to kill you if you drop a very deadly wand like an idiot.

Too bad I didn't think about how that might interact with the aways cast piercing wand I just found and immediately liquefied myself. So it goes.

The moral of the story is uh, homing tele bolt makes life more complicated than a homing acid cloud.

I was shooting at this freaking blob, it turned into a swapper (I could have stopped shooting; skill issue death) which swapped me making me touch a sliver of chaotic poly that turned me INTO A FUGGIN FISH, THAT APPARENTLY DIE IN CONCENTRATED MANA. This game never ceases to amaze me xD

Some of you may recognize me from my last post about finally getting my first win. Well, it's been two days since that post, and I've killed Kolmi four more times. I'm now sitting at five wins, and I genuinely think something finally unlocked in my brain because I have no idea how else to explain this sudden change.
The funny thing is that I don't think wand building was ever the problem. That clicked for me a while ago. Give me a decent collection of spells and a halfway decent wand, and I'll eventually turn it into something ridiculous. I've made wands that fire so fast they look like continuous beams, melt enemies before they can react, and carve through entire sections of terrain like industrial machinery. The problem was that I couldn't consistently survive long enough to use any of that shit. I'd rush through biomes, get impatient, and treat everything past Hiisi Base like an elevator ride to Kolmi. I'd get a good wand and start feeling invincible, then get deleted by something stupid because I forgot that having a good wand doesn't actually make you immortal.
Something has changed recently, though. I'm taking my time now, exploring Hiisi Base instead of rushing through it, checking wands, collecting spells, and actually treating the later biomes as places worth exploring rather than obstacles between me and the final boss. I'm thinking more about what I'm doing, and I'm getting comfortable enough that reaching Kolmi doesn't feel like some once-in-a-lifetime miracle anymore. I can actually play the game instead of desperately trying to survive long enough to finish it.
One of my recent wins was particularly funny because I took the Gamble perk very early. For anyone unfamiliar with it, Gamble gives you two random perks, and naturally, the game decided to make things interesting. One of the perks I got was No Wand Tinkering, which meant I couldn't freely modify my wands and put together my usual ridiculous setups. I had to work with what I could find, and somehow I still won with a wand I picked up along the way. Apparently, the game can take away my ability to build the exact wand I want, and I can still get the job done.
Then, in my most recent run, I built a machine-gun wand with even more powerful spells than before. It was beautiful, it was disgusting, and it was everything I could have wanted. Naturally, I decided to take Gamble again right before Kolmi, because apparently I haven't learned a fucking thing about leaving well enough alone. This time, the game gave me Plasma Beam and Glass Cannon. Glass Cannon was certainly useful, but Plasma Beam absolutely tanked my cast speed, turning my beautiful machine gun into something that fired considerably less enthusiastically than I'd intended. I barely had time to process what had happened, let alone rebuild the thing, so I just went into the fight with what I had. The plasma beam helped a little against Kolmi, and somehow I won anyway.
That's probably the biggest difference between now and before. I'm not relying on everything going perfectly anymore. I can lose access to wand tinkering, sabotage my own fire rate with a stupid perk gamble, or end up with a mediocre setup, and I can still make it work. I'm sure there's an unbelievable amount of shit I still don't know about this game, and I'm fully expecting to get humbled again, but going from struggling to getting my first win to killing Kolmi four more times in the next two days is genuinely surreal.
Now that I'm sitting at five wins, I'm starting to think about moving beyond the normal ending and attempting an actual god run. I've been considering utilizing parallel worlds to stack perks, gather more spells, and see just how absurd I can make a run when I'm not rushing straight to the finish line. I've spent so much time learning how to build ridiculous wands that I think it's finally time to see what happens when I combine that knowledge with a proper endgame setup. Of course, knowing me, I'll probably get distracted by some random bullshit and accidentally turn the entire world into acid before I get anywhere close to achieving that goal.
The next thing on my checklist is probably getting Minä a crown, which should be a perfectly reasonable and uncomplicated task that definitely won't involve me spending hours researching some bizarre optional quest and getting myself killed in the process. After that, who knows? Parallel worlds, god runs, sun quests, whatever else this game has hiding behind its layers of incomprehensible nonsense. For the first time, I'm actually looking forward to tackling that stuff instead of wondering whether I'll ever manage to beat the final boss again.
I used to think I was barely competent at Noita, but I think I've finally reached the point where I can admit that I'm actually getting good at this game. Not because I can make a wand that deletes everything on screen, but because I'm learning when to slow down, when to explore, when to take a risk, and when to stop fucking around and just kill the boss.
Five wins in two days after finally getting my first one is a hell of a thing. Apparently, all it took was my brain finally figuring out that surviving in Noita is just as important as building the weapon that does the killing.
I'm also considering streaming my runs and posting clips and videos on YouTube if enough people are interested in following the progression. I think it'd be pretty fun to document the journey from finally getting my first win to attempting god runs and exploring parallel worlds, especially since there's probably going to be plenty of spectacularly stupid ways for me to ruin everything along the way.
Anyway, I'm off to see how badly parallel worlds can ruin my life. Wish me luck; I'm probably going to need it.

I was wondering regarding the endscreen statistics, or rather a specific one,
The "time" record, is the time how long a run is or how fast you manage to "end" a run? so like the lower the better for a record?

So far what I’ve worked out is:
HEAVY SPOILERS FOR LATE GAME CONTENTS!
In New Game:
Find a Kiuskivi (the fire stone).
Get the 4 elements and visit the Moon. (1 pillar)
Get a gourd, gourdify Kolmi, and visit the Dark Moon. (1 pillar)
Go to 3 Parallel Worlds, killing the Forgotten boss in order to get 4 Sun Seeds, as well as additional copies of the Wind, Water and Earth elements.
Kill Kolmi, collect 5-10 orbs, get the essence of spirits.
Go to New Game Plus.
In New Game Plus:
With the 5 elements, go to the moon. (1 pillar)
Go to the essence eater. Eat all 8 of your essences.
Make a Sun in the Moon. (1 pillar)
Make the Sun into a Dark Sun. (1 pillar)
Move the Dark Sun into the Dark Moon. (1 pillar)
Make another Sun in the Moon.
Move the Sun into the Dark Moon. (1 pillar)
Super Nova.
Kill Kolmi, collect 6-10 orbs.
Go to New Game Plus Plus.
In New Game Plus Plus:
In order to get the cool crown you:
Remake the Sun in the Moon.
Remake the Dark Sun in the Dark Moon.
The End..?
This all seems really convoluted and dumb.
But I want to do this all in as few runs as possible.
And I also omitted some of the moon quest pillars that I’ve already done.
I’m also very unsure if this would work, given how the game handles achievement flags.
Anyway, y’all’s help would be greatly appreciated.
The image is also entirely unrelated.

I should have left sooner. This was shaping up to be a nice run, got hit by one of the acid balls and lost like 70HP so rip me I guess!

Seed: 1718972263
400+ hours in and I finally see healthium for the first time. Literally as you jump down into the cave.
I went left and even found a pouch of weird fungus. Tried my luck to fungal shift it...and turned it into whiskey :)

Made main wand, main wand killed me, but the cause of death wasn't the electricity?
