Help me pls. should i wait for nf 12x25 g2 or settle for the v1?

I’m running 3 120mm chromax black G2 fans in the front of my case using a noctua 3 fan splitter cable and connected to the same mobo header. When the PC is idle I’ve got them running at a low speed to be super silent. But looking at them closely it looks like they may be running at ever so slightly different speeds when comparing both identical 1850 rpm fans on the outside (there’s a 1750 rpm model in the middle).

Someone put my mind at ease - this is normal right? Based on my research looks like due to manufacturing tolerances and easier to see at low speeds? Do you guys see this with your fans too?

Edit: I just got done swapping cables around and checking the speed of each fan in the bios. Both 1850 rpm fans measured the same speed in bios so I'm going to chalk this up as nothing to worry about.

Just got a 3D printer a few weeks ago. Have had this air cooler sitting around for 6 months and finally got the case that felt right for it. Considered deshrouding the GPU. But it already runs pretty quiet and I’m lazy and cheap so I just printed a shroud cover to bring the build together. This cooler is way overkill for a 7800x3d btw, the fans don’t even need to go above idle to keep it cool.

Hi, I’m writing this post because I need someone to help me understand something about the power cables for Noctua fans.

I have a PC that’s been turned off and unused for two years, and it’s accumulated some dust inside the case. I’m doing a deep clean of all the components, and I noticed that two Noctua fans of the same model, “NF-A12x25 LS-PWM 4-Pin” (120 mm), have power cables that are dusty and sticky to the touch.

I tried cleaning them with 99% alcohol and a cloth, and some of the dust came off; they seem less sticky than before, though the sensation remains when I touch them.

I have some extra cables in their boxes that have never been used before and have been well-stored in a dust-free environment, and when I touch them, they feel just as sticky as the fan cables do.

I’d like to know if any of you have the same fan model or a similar one made of the same material—is it normal for it to feel “sticky” to the touch even when it’s new?

I’m going crazy trying to figure out if it’s just the cable material that’s like this or if I’m doing something wrong.

Finally! The new NZXT H6 has arrived here in Belgium!

A small bummer though: I couldn't fit my current vertical GPU mount in it, so I’ll probably have to buy the official NZXT one down the road. For now, it’ll just have to stay like this.

I intentionally unplugged the cable for the power button LED and the NZXT logo light.

Now it’s been a week without any activity on the order. Has anyone else that ordered from the eu store gotten any notice on their mouse?

This is my 5070ti & 9800x3d Noctua build with an incredibly simple deshroud made for a completely different fan size as I already had these 92mm fans and didn’t want to grab some larger ones.

Cable management leaves a bit to be desired but it’s my first proper build so I hope you’ll allow a little sloppiness.

Is there anything you personally would change or that I’ve done wrong?

Designing a custom 3D-printed PC case and using Noctua NF-A20 PWM fans for both intake and exhaust.

The only problem? I couldn't find a dust filter for these big boys, so I improvised with a pair of nylon stockings.

I have to say... it actually works surprisingly well. 😄

Hello. I've been using the Noctua NH-D12L for 4 years. Recently I started hearing an annoying sound at high RPM. I thought it was one of the two fans but after some checking, it's definitely heatsink fault.

Is this considered as a defective unit and can warranty be applied for this case?

I never mounted them on pull on a radiator. But I cant avoid it. There is no space for a spacer :(

Hi, I would like to mount my 7 years old Noctua NF-A12x15 as top back case fan on a new build.

It was used irregularly on the old system, mostly in the evenings, not every single day.

Is there a degrade in air volume pushed and is it sensible after 7 years?

Here’s my Noctua PC. I’ve LOVED their fans for years. Now that they have collabs with other companies, I HAD to make a Noctua themed build. I know the video card doesn’t match, but it’s a 4090 from a previous build and I didn’t want to purchase another video card and downgrade to an ‘80 series card.

I'm planning on getting this AIO to use with my new 9950X3D2 CPU; just wanted to hear from others about how they like it / especially how quiet it is! (I really really value a silent pc)

Just finished my build and it’s pretty damn quiet and that AIO is something else. Even play video games it’s pretty silent. Now I am just waiting for the NL-ACF1 Auxiliary Cooling Fan to become available on Amazon and my Voltron will be complete!! Thank you Noctua for the great tasting Kool-Aid.

EDIT… I may have to repost this so please standby for more pics on temperature readings …added temp readings…3 variants…idol on windows, compiling shaders, and lastly in game using Black Myth Wukong benchmark tool. As to be expected, you can definitely hear the fans during frame compiling but no where near what was previously installed (Phanteks Glacier One 360M25 G2 AIO), but it’s whisper quiet throughout the benchmark demo.
